   I live out of region but watch Sam's posts on Instagram and have contacted him to purchase some items - he is brilliant to deal with, checking measurements and offering suggestions. He has posted the items out really quickly and they are always as described. Sam and his store are awesome and it's great to be able to support small NZ businesses even from afar.

   Sam is such a legend and has an amazing eye, he can make magic from pretty much anything. I have never left The Merry Go Round without buying something. Every time someone comments on a cool piece of art or furniture in our house, I have to say “oh it’s from this amazing shop in Alicetown”.

   The Merry Go Round Store by Sam Vaughan has a wonderfully authentic shabby sheek vibe - with upcycled & industrial furniture & home decor that's genuinely retro without feeling junky. Online & with a physical store open every Saturday on Cuba St. in Lower Hutt. Stop by for a taste of anything from furniture to light fittings, flags, jackets, trinkets & various items that could have been plucked from a Wes Anderson set.
