   Chrissy at your Capital Gateway Wellington store was very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable about your products she even moved outdoor chairs around so we could look at all of our options. I had not heard much about Early Settlers I just thought they were another highend store. I am so glad we came into the store and would be very happy to add Early Settlers to the top of my list of favourite furniture stores in the Wellington area. I have lived in Wellington for over 50 years and had not heard much about you, I can't wait to spread the word :)"

   I have visited this shop so many times over the years and I have always found the staff to be helpful. It's worth keeping an eye open for sales as well, there are some good deals to be had if you spot something you don't want straight away. Will keep coming back to this store as the furniture is great.

   Very helpful sales lady who helped us find a suitable ceiling fan and ordered it and offered to send it by courier to save another trip into Wellington. She also got one of the other staff to take down the last one of a particular light fitting we liked and parcelled it up to make it easy for us to take on the train. We were very happy with our purchases - they are just what we wanted for our new home. Great range of light fittings

They were both incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and genuinely a pleasure to deal with. Reece made a real impression with his calm, understanding nature and the way he approached everything with such care and professionalism. Amber was equally fantastic, warm, supportive, and just as committed to making sure everything went smoothly. It’s rare to come across people who are not only great at what they do but also make you feel genuinely looked after. I hope their efforts are recognized, they really went above and beyond, and made my experience with Early Settler one I’ll always speak highly of.

   Ordered items a couple weeks ago and still waiting. No contact or updates on delivery date. When I visited no one was busy, seems they cant answer a call or msg for a few hrs and when they do they blame it on their warehouse.

   Placed my order in January and I’m still waiting. There has been absolutely zero contact or updates on delivery date. It doesn’t matter if you order in store or online, you still have to wait. I still require more furniture for my new home but will not order from early settler again. Early settler needs to get their ordering system’s sorted and have more stock on hand.

   I bought a cabinet online 24 Nov paid for delivery in 14 days. Still not here. I rang Monday 12 Dec assured it was on its way and I would hear from Wellington. Nothing so far. Really disappointing. It finally arrived towards end of January - after several phone calls to online support that were helpful on the surface but nothing positive happened, just more delaying tactics. No phone calls back when they said they would. Finally we talked to the Wellington store manager who took our concerns on board, refunded a discount and it arrived not long after. I am happy with the cabinet but will not buy anything online from them again. I will do person to person at the Wellington store.

   The shop is arranged with the most inspiring furniture I have seen lately. The furniture are arranged in an informal way, inviting you to look sit. The modern look of the show room is inviting the colour scheme up to date. I was positively impressed about this shop who I frequently visit for about 20 years now. Well done. The staff leave you to your self and if you need help or assistance they are there for you. Professional advise and support without the pressure of needing to close a deal. Very refreshing. I felt great to have purchased great value for money. The quality I buy at early settler has not changed in the 20 years I nut there. Again I bought some lasting furniture that make a statement in my house. Thanks early settler to be there and still are there after all these years. I love returning to your shop. Annemieke Becks
