Very friendly knowledge service. We found a bed elsewhere that better suited our needs however just thought I'd call out that these guys were great to deal with.
I found the various sales staff we spoke with were knowledgeable & it seemed like they know their beds like the back of their hand. Our bed arrived & was delivered well within the delivery time we were given - a wonderful surprise that has caused a bit of a stress! With previous beds we've bought from them we've always had the beds delivered and put together so I was expecting the same this time round. Unfortunately Tim put us down for delivery only. Not helpful when my wonderful DIY husband had in a rush taken our bed apart before he went on an out of town work trip, and I've got a fractured shoulder bone so even making the bed up with linen takes a while. Couch surfing in my own home? Fortunately I've got wonderful friends. ALWAYS ask when purchasing the bed for the bed to be set up (if that is what you expect) as it might not happen otherwise.
Headboard for our bed was said to come in 2 to 3 weeks . Still waiting for it now its 4 weeks. I had to chase them up to find out status after 3 weeks had passed. Not impressed with that. From a good initial experience to a now frustrating one . The bed when it arrives better be amazing to change my experience about Bedpost
Tim was great! He is knowledgable about this trade and is customer focused. Some are just after the sale, but Tim will suggest the best one for you. He will think about everything from purchase to delivery (if it fits the turns in your house) down to installation. He even offers smart suggestions in keeping your items top quality!
Friendly and knowledgable staff. Helped us find the right mattresses for our kids. Very accommodating with delivery and overall customer service. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you are new to Wellington and looking for a reliable bed and mattress store.
Great shop and has awesome staff. We brought our last bed from here so had to come back again, Tim helped us through the process and was super easy to deal with. Learnt a bit about the different beds and made us feel better about the buying process. Delivery was not a problem to even though we are out in Kapiti
Honestly a fantastic shop. My wife and I were upgrading our previous mattress of 13 years —a beautiful mattress from the Japanese store MUJI— which was a hard act to follow. We settled on a foam mattress that seemed fine in the store but once we spent a week on it at home we realized we would not be happy on this for the decade to come. Bedpost made it easy for us to exchange it and we went in and chose our new mattress (pocket springs are the way to go) which was delivered a few days later, while the delivery guys extracted the previous one. Plus, our salesman (older gent) was knowledgeable, patient, and friendly, encouraging us to try our every mattress we wanted with the pillows of our choice. We even bought two mattresses for our kids too. Naturally if we’ve chosen well we won’t need to go back to Bedpost very often, but when we do need a new mattress I’d have no reservations about returning to give them our business.

Needed to urgently replace a broken mattress as my old back issues were beginning to return. Searched web and phone canvassed first. Salesperson (Neville) was knowledgeable, helpful and low pressure, including persuading me to visit other retailers for comparison after I had made an initial choice. Did so, but came back. I still liked that mattress best, and even more so because it was the most competitively priced! It arrived a week earlier than estimated, delivered by two courteous and capable staff who negotiated a very rough farm track cheerfully, installed the new and took away the old. Very efficient. I could not be more pleased. Especially as my back issues are now resolved. Very highly recommended.
