Freedom Furniture Wellington offers stylish furniture and home décor with a modern touch. The showroom is well-organized, the staff are friendly and helpful, and there's convenient free parking right outside the main entrance. Great store with great products and customer service.
Spacious store that provides lots of ideas to help design a sophisticated living space. A+ customer service from Daria, she was hugely knowledgeable and catered this to our goals and budget. Only feedback for improvement is directly mostly toward the Freedom online store - which is that delivery costs are expensive - especially when considering the amount of money already being spent by the customer. Very disappointing customer service. I called twice and was told someone would check and get back to me—no one did. On the third call to check on the delivery, the customer service representative was extremely rude. There was no apology, no thank you, not even a goodbye—they simply hung up, and I initially thought the line had dropped. I called back and realized it was done deliberately. Later, when I asked another question, I was told, “You were not listening, ma’am.” That was shocking. Your staff clearly need retraining on how to communicate respectfully with customers. Please remember: it’s customers who make it possible for you to pay your staff.
Looks good but exceptionally poor quality. We brought a $5000 outdoor sofa set (Cannes). 9 months later (6 of which was in storage) the structural wood is all split and falling apart but freedom doesn’t stand by “performance issues” for furniture. Astounding huh.
Have called them four time over the past two weeks regarding our furniture delivery, every time that say they will look into it and call us back but never do. Now the phones go direct to answer phone. Apparently it is in Auckland, now they have our money they don’t seem to care.
Furniture hasn’t arrived on time ( on the estimated date of delivery) and no communication with us as the customer to give us a rough idea. Customer support doesn’t answer their phones. How are we meant to sort this out. Honestly, this is the second time dealing with Freedom furniture that we have been disappointed. Please communicate better with customers.
Bought a table in April when free delivery for items in stock, item was but was charged 100 for delivery. Delivery came a couple of weeks late with no reason and communication. Seeking refund for delivery costs but still haven’t come back to me but it’s been weeks and no contact since lodging a case. Feel compelled to make a review as my concerns aren’t being answered. Would not recommend and always check if you’re being charged when offering free delivery
The staff were lovely but the shopping experience was pretty bleak because the store doesn’t actually have things available - you have to wait 5-6 month to get them delivered to you, and it’s not advertised anywhere so you find out once you’ve made up your mind. An update: It is now June (6 months later), and we have received an email saying it won't be getting here until at least mid-July... so yeah, save yourself stress and DON'T buy from them.
Terrible communication! So many delays that it’s hard to believe I’ll ever receive the furniture now! Feel like this is a scam!! We were reassured at the time of purchase that the order was available in the local warehouse and would receive it within 10 working days… and 4 months later i we are still waiting! And having to make contact to chase this up, and being told of further delays each time… now currently for another2 months but surely to continue to have further delays!! Absolutely ridiculous
