   I had a very disappointing experience at Unichem Helensville Pharmacy. I had a prescription from Avian Empire Vet for my sick chicken and was upfront about the fact that, since Helensville Unichem was closed when I received the prescription via email, I had picked up one of the medications from Unichem Mt Wellington to begin treatment urgently. After waiting over 30 minutes and answering numerous questions, they ultimately refused to dispense the remaining medication. Initially, they said they only had 29 tablets instead of 30 and asked if I was okay with that—I said that was fine. Then, they claimed the emailed prescription from the vet did not include a barcode and that they couldn't provide the medication. After that, they decided they needed to call Unichem Mt Wellington. I am extremely frustrated that after such a long wait and answering so many questions, the pharmacist still refused to give me the medication. It felt like they didn't know what they were doing.
