   Every staff member was lovely, very helpful and patient. However, they need to hire another security guard. I didn’t end up buying, as I was walking out the door, past the security alarm, the security guard stopped me and asked to check inside my partner’s my handbag. If the security alarm didn’t go off, why does he feel the need to check inside?! Her handbag was tiny, all it could fit was her phone and card holder. I proceed to ask him why he needed to check inside as she clearly didn’t take anything and the alarm panels didn’t ring. He gave me the meanest look and said that she might’ve stole something?! “What about all the other women in the store with handbags? Did you check them?”, he ignored the question and just waved me off, without saying anything. The security guard looked African (dark skinned) and was bald. Hire someone new please.

   I had already bought sore throat medication at a nearby supermarket and went into this pharmacy to find antihistamines. At the entrance, I asked the cashier if I could bring the medication I’d already purchased with me or leave it at the counter while I looked around. She seemed either annoyed or confuse, possibly due to a language barrier, and told me I couldn't do either. She said if I entered, I would have to pay for everything, even what I had brought from elsewhere. Absolutely unacceptable. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had.

   Today I went there to take my prescribed medication. The waiting time was very reasonable although the shop was very busy. Mai (the person who helped me on the counter) was so professional and nice and helped me patiently with giving me info and details on my presentation. Big thanks to the team!

   You can't go wrong with Chemist Warehouse. Love their budget friendly prices, huge range of skincare products and cult brands like CeraVe that arent available anywhere else in New Zealand. Their fragrance section is also great and we always look for the 'on sale' OPI nail polishes. We find it best to shop instore as online orders can take days or longer to be packed and dispatched.
