5 stars all around! I adore photographing getting ready photos at this gorgeous cottage - perfect for a getting ready location in Kumeu for weddings and events. Close to the local venues and a beautiful clean interior to capture timeless images.
Pool area needed some care so I didn't use the pool during my stay.
The first time I stayed at Lichfields was a great experience. It was close to the wedding venue we were at, the rooms were spacious and tidy. We really appreciated the later check out too I booked again in November 22 for November 23 but unfortunately had to cancel in April 23. My deposit was refunded in May 23, delay was due to my emails being sent into the junk mail folder. Would still recommend to friends and family as a good place to stay - especially if attending a wedding out West

We were lucky enough to spend a few days in this beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay, including lots of lovely little personal touches (homemade jam!). We loved being able to use the pool, the tennis courts and the nature trail. Kirsty is an incredible host and gave us lots of great recommendations for eateries and activities. A perfect country retreat.
Very beautiful and serene place. The host is very lovely and has adorable dogs.
Very nice cottage. Excellent place to stay when attending a local wedding. Comfortable and well set up.
