   Reasonable pricing but the overall experience had been disappointing. I’ve visited several times and the hygiene standards are concerning: the rubbish bin is often overflowing, used wax strips are placed on top of clean ones (from a previous client), and the same applicator is repeatedly dipped into the was pot and left there. Service quality is inconsistent: wax temperature varies from too hot to too cold, and when I raised my concerns I was told “it’s fine”. There’s no skin prep - even when I requested baby powder, I was told it “doesn’t make a difference.” Patches of hair are usually left behind and at my last visit, my entire arm was left bruised. To top it off, in addition to taking personal phone calls while waxing, I received comments about my brows not being threaded properly - despite the fact that they were done there.

   She did my brows ok but it's better to do them myself now. I found they were uneven especially when she tinted them I guess the price is cheaper for a reason or maybe it's just me?

   I recently visited this salon for under arm waxing and left with burning / removed skin. I was greeted with a nice reception and escorted into the side room. As i laid down, she used her bare hands to wipe my under arms, very unhygienic as she didn't even wash her hands. She then brought out a roll on wax and proceeded to use it on my underarms and waxed it repeatedly with a strip. Since she didn't prep my underarms with baby powder, this was incredibly painful. I still don't understand why she didn't use a hard wax bead as this would've been a one and done procedure rather than waxing the same area 5+ times. I'm used to having my under arms waxed and the entire process was incredibly painful, i still don't know what cream she rubbed on my under arms after the service (particularly since my underarms were bleeding). Would not visit again!

   I have recently visited Alka for makeup for couple of days and every day she gave me a different look which was praised by my family and friends, she is professionally skilled and knows her job very well and have passion for what she does, would highly recommend her.

   while alka was polite and friendly, the makeup service i got was far from pleasant. she used her hands all over my face, putting makeup products on her hands which went on my face. i seriously hope she washed her hands. next was the dirty, unwashed beauty blender she used, honestly gross. not to mention, she used the completely wrong shade of foundation on both me and my friend (who also got her makeup done). also putting lipstick straight from the tube onto my lips. i don’t know how many other people she’s used that lipstick on and how many people after me she’s going to be using it on. at least use a clean brush to apply the lipstick. after seeing all the dirty products, her using products straight from tubes (like the lipstick and mascara), the mismatched the foundation, and how un-blended everything was, i went straight home and took it all off because i was worried i’d get some sort of infection and i was too embarrassed to keep it on. i had to re do all the makeup myself, which then defeated the purpose of me going to get my makeup done. i’m sure she’s great at threading eyebrows and waxes, but unfortunately from what i saw today, i will not be going back for any sort of makeup.
