   I’ve been going to Lingum for close to a decade now, and I can honestly say he’s the best barber I’ve ever had. Every single visit, he takes his time and pays close attention to detail, whether it’s a haircut, beard trim, or a full fade. He never rushes the job, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. What I really appreciate is the consistency — no matter how long I’ve been seeing him, the standard is always high. My hair and beard always come out sharp and clean, and I constantly get compliments afterwards. On top of that, he’s professional, friendly, and makes the whole experience enjoyable. If you’re looking for the best fade in town, I can’t recommend Lingum enough. 10/10 — worth every visit!

   "I'm sharing this experience to prevent another child from being treated the way my 4-year-old was. He's new to New Zealand and was already nervous about his first salon haircut. Despite our efforts to prepare him, he was understandably scared. We arrived at 5:30 PM, and the salon closed at 6:00 PM. Instead of telling us he was working late, the hairdresser proceeded with the cut. When my son cried, he was met with hurtful comments like, 'Are you not strong?' and 'Are you a cry baby?' He was even asked if he was a girl, which is completely unacceptable. It's shocking that a professional would speak to a young child this way. A little compassion and understanding would have made all the difference. If the hairdresser was concerned about time, he should have told us upfront, not during the appointment." Although the haircut was neat, the way it was done was really disappointing. The environment was not clean as well.
