My experience at the barbershop yesterday was fantastic. Great music, friendly atmosphere, you could even play Xbox while you wait! Dan was an absolute G and understood exactly what I was asking for. Skin fade, undercut the sides and blend into the top, shave the line into the part. I was very happy with the service, conversation, and recommendations to visit around the city as we're from Melbourne, and this was my first time in Wellington. Would highly recommend anyone to get their haircut here. Thank you again!
Charlotte gave me an excellent skin fade for a fair price and was lovely to chat with! Will certainly be returning next time I'm in town. Reservation was easy to make online, just make sure to check the booking as there are two locations: this one on Google maps, as well as the VIP lounge a couple blocks south.

Best barbers in Welly if you don't mind paying a little more than your average barber (40-50) Quality cuts that aren't rushed, staff have great chat and the atmosphere of the place is mean as Walk-ins only so if you're really needing a cut don't go any later than an hour before they close!
Iβm giving you guys 5-stars so as to leave a comment but not crush your overall rating. But I brought my son in for a cut. It was 4:30. The lone barber said itβd he 30 mins, despite there being 4 names on the board. I thought β4 cuts in 30 mins? 12.5 mins each? Optimistic, but OK.β We went record shopping for half an hour. 30 mins later we came back, another barber had appeared, and yet there were still two names on the board ahead of my son. So we sat down to wait. 50 mins later the same two barbers were chatting up and snipping away at the same two customers. 50 minutes. These were relatively clean cur guys. Not sure between all the chatter and care why it should take that long. Ultimately my son was starving after the wait that we had to rub our name off the list and go get dinner. No haircut. Itβs a shame because the spot is beautiful, the shirts, grooming products, the overall milieu of an old-fashioned but really nice-looking barber shop is excellent. But wow I am jealous of all the reviews where people got their cuts going in 10 mins. Weβll try again next time, but I wish we didnβt wait an hour and 20 mins for no result today.
Charlotte gave me my first haircut in two years, and it's amazing -my partner can't keep her hands off of me. She paid great attention to detail, and left me feeling pampered and full of confidence. Thanks heaps, will definitely be coming back! :D
