I always feel so welcome at Sadal and co. Lovely people working there create a great friendly vibe. Louise is fantastic and understands how much my thick hair stresses me out. She always leaves me feeling better about myself.
I had an incredible experience at this salon, and I can't speak highly enough about Kylie, the owner. She worked wonders on my hair, leaving it both healthy and fabulous. What truly impressed me was her dedication to customer satisfaction. When I mentioned a colouring problem, she not only listened but also fixed it free of charge. Kylie's commitment to her clients sets this salon apart. Moreover, the rest of the staff exudes good vibes, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. I highly recommend it for top-notch service and a truly personalised touch.

Poor service and the lack of a customer resolution process. Having been a loyal customer of Sadal & Co for years and knowing some of their staff from get funk'd salon days, I was extremely disappointed with the treatment I received from the owner today. Having found an appointment on their booking website online, I rang into confirm a slot, whereby the receptionist mentioned that none was available. She then said I could book online if I wished but wouldn't answer when I asked if I'd be turned away as the system on their end is showing otherwise. The receptionist was in a rush to get rid of me from the start and hung up on me while I was still speaking. When I rang back, the receptionist raised her voice at me defensively and later passed me onto the owner. Unfortunately, the owner was rude, lacked any empathy and offered no resolution. I understand this is a very busy period but there is no need to go out of the way to be rude. This is extremely sad given that I have not only frequented but also promoted the business wherever and whenever possible. A business that does not care for feedback from their loyal customers and instead treat them like adversaries is a business that I will not be backing. Some of the hairdressers are lovely but beware, management does not have a customer centric mindset and if you face an issue, they will cause further despair and not attempt to rectify it.

I'm new in Wellington, so I walked in (The Terrace) and my experience was amazing. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, even though they were fully booked. However, I was super lucky because they managed to book me in that day and I had my hair done. I wanted a balayage and Joe took care of me and he went beyond my expectations, I absolutely loved it!! The team was so lovely and caring, they offered me hot drinks and even a glass of wine and snacks. Highly recommended!!!!
Really disappointed with Sadal and Co. I thought I would be in good hands as they have great reviews but I highly regret finding them. (Before and after photos attached) I went in to get my lightened hair (from a different salon) toned for a special event. The stylist told me he would just tone my roots and blend them down. But for some reason put toner throughout my entire hair. The lightened hair that I spent A LOT of money and time towards was now BLACK. When I asked why it was so dark he said it would lighten over time. Upon showing it to a different hair dresser she immediately knew he had gone about 3 shades too dark. When Sadal and Co. were called to find out what was used (so she could try to fix it)- we found out that no records had been taken for what products were used (we could barely get a straight answer about what was done). I needed my hair fixed ASAP for the event so I went ahead and got it done with someone else (I was also hesitant to go back to Sadal and Co. who had screwed up my hair so badly- I had no trust in them). When I emailed them for a refund they refused to take any ownership of the situation and denied a refund. This is due to the fact that I had gone somewhere else to try and fix my hair and decided not to go to them. I have had to spend $85 with Sadal and Co. only to have my hair ruined. On top of this have had to spend hundreds more to fix something THEY did. Just for $85, they're willing to let a customer go unhappy and extremely upset. I'm generally a very forgiving customer and understand that mistakes happens but the more I spoke to them, the more it was clear, that they value $85 over a customer...and that is NOT a business I want to be supporting.
