It is my second visit with my car. Their service is prompt and professional, also with good explanation. Charge is pretty fair for the industry too. Will definitely visit again!
My experience here was beyond appalling. They had my vehicle for about 2 months, I got it back and the same issue it was taken in for hadn’t been dealt to, after returning it for another month they still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. Basically they had my vehicle for nearly 4 months without figuring out the issue - I took it to another garage and found out the core issue within 1 day. The communication was incredibly poor I had to constantly chase them up when they said they would be in touch. The amount of times I had to call up frustrated by empty promises was crazy. I usually would never leave a review but I went here because they had such high ratings. Would never even consider recommending the place
My car was returned with a dirty condition on steering wheel, door frame, and a few more places. There were also serious scratches underneath the front left corner. I used to have great service there, but this time I was so disappointed.
This place was great! They booked me in for my service quickly and efficiently and then went above and beyond to ensure my car was perfect. Communication was great and their attention to detail top notch. Every member of staff I interacted with was professional, kind, and friendly.
Joey and the team at Kilbirnie motors are genuine, friendly, kind people. Their service is very thorough, pricing is fair and they spend time explaining things which I really appreciate. I used to be quite intimidated and fearful of going to the mechanic as a 20 something female until I came here. Although google says they close at 5pm, they're often here until 6:30 which is really useful when coming after work. I always leave in a better mood which speaks for itself. Thank you!
First time I got my car serviced here and got very impressed. People were friendly, services were timely and communications were great! Although the website says they close at 5pm, I can still pick up my car after I finish work at 6:30pm, which is very convenient. Keep up the awesome work team!
I don’t write reviews that often and I’m usually skeptical about new mechanics, so I was absolutely blown away by the level of service that Joey and the boys at Kilbirnie Motors provided. I was only passing through Wellington for a couple of days, and they managed to slot me in and make a quick repair so I could get going on my trip. I sincerely appreciated their dedication and can’t recommend them enough. Excellent service, communication, fair prices, and very friendly team to boot. Would stop by here again when I’m back in Wellington!
Thanks a lot guys for the great service at a very good price. Very specialised and knowledgeable, they always give me accurate diagnosis and quotations. They have done a lot of work on my 2007 Van changing some old parts that were worn out. No issues more than a year for some of the work done and no issues. Joey , Nathan & Harold are extremely welcoming, honourable and thorough. They communicated extremely well with me and treated me with great respect. I don’t know anything about cars so it is quite intimidating going to a mechanic as I don’t understand what they are talking about at all. They explained to me everything in detail and would talk with me until I was satisfied. They pretty much taught me everything and shared industry secrets ! haha! They are perfect for every customer and my experience was truly wholesome. Kilbrnie motors for life !
