   I have been going to Dave and co. for 30+ years. Sadly, last time I went, I decided to get new tyres. The quote was reasonable. When I dropped my ranger, they weren’t expecting me. They put used tyres on at more than double the quote and they look worn down after only 3 months. Disappointed and would like a refund. You have my number and I need that refund.

   I am so disappointed with these guys service. I took my car there for a WOF, then I was told that the CV boot is split and needed fixing. The problem was after the CV boot fixed, I have experienced squealing and rattling noises from the car while driving around. I took the car back to them for the 4th time and I was told the brakes are fairly new and the noises must be coming from the engine. Something to do with timing chain. I had to shop around for a second opinion as I was uncomfortable and felt unsafe to drive around. Luckily this second mechanic found my front breaks werent tighten up and back breaks are worn and rusty. Right front guardliner body clips were not clipped on. Also found the RH inner CV boot needs spraying grease. There is a lack of communication, indecisive and reluctant to help. I paid your service but you didnt deliver. Be kind and honest goes a long way.

   The service I received here was absolutely terrible. I encountered 2 men, both completely disinterested, dismissive and rude. Terrible way to start my day. After driving my car about 6 minutes from home, red lights appeared on my dash along with a loud warning sound. I kept driving as I knew there was a garage just up the road (3 minutes). Unfortunately for me it was Karori Service Centre. I met 2 non-interested, non-caring completely unapproachable men. Neither one was pleasant or helpful. Neither offered any information as to what the problem might be or suggestion of solutions. I felt dismissed. I drove my car away (slightly panicked but more appalled) and will never take my vehicle here or recommend this place to anyone. If I could give a negative rating, I definately would.

   Good enough service if you want a cheap option, but could benefit from a computer system, as everything is recorded with pen and paper. This means there is not much scheduling, recording of phone numbers or previous service records of your vehicle, resulting in poor communication and organisation.

   My daughters car had smoke coming from under the hood while in Karori. We booked Karori Service Centre to fix it the following week as they were booked solid. Great service and turnaround. Had thought it was going to be a blown head gasket, but turned out to be something much less of a problem. Appreciate your honesty and integrity.

   My son bought a used car and took it to another auto repair shop . The sputtering wasn’t fixed. Took it to Karori Service centre which is my mechanic, Dave. Dave diagnosed the problem and ordered spark plugs and fixed the problem. Next week Dave will fix the oil leak. Dave is honest thorough, and knows his cars. I have been going to him for years and he is great at his job.

   I would recommend these guys to anyone who needs automotive work done. They went right out of their way to make sure my car was sorted and did it with virtually no notice and very quickly. Great guys providing a great service.
