Love coming here when I work in Wellington! Friendly staff and great service! Also a nice atmosphere and space, really peaceful if you want to get off the busy streets in the city. Coffee is lovely too!

One of my favourite hangouts since 2011. Friendly team, great coffee, and a menu that caters for most tastes. Only place in town I have found this far that makes their lemon honey ginger from separate ingredients. Highly recommended.
This little Cafe is tucked away, best coffee in the area, and the staff super friendly. Their cabinet food is a great selection and very reasonably priced.
Absolutely love Legato!! One of the best places to go for an early morning coffee and catch up when working in Wellngton.
Went in, as me and my team often do, to get coffee & a panini and was told "we only accept washed keep cups" so I asked if there was somewhere I could wash it and was told "you can use the bathroom but somebody is in there at the moment". Whole thing felt pretty odd and it's the only Cafe in Wellington that I have been to that has that rule. Oh and the has last time I went in to get a coffee (a day or 2 ago) , this rule was not applied. Server was lovely and I love their panini's but I won't be going back anytime soon.
Great cafe for lunch or coffee catch-ups. Spacious, reasonably priced and friendly. Highly recommend the house-made shiitake mushroom dumplings.
Cheese Scone Review Good size, not too big, not too small, just right. Somewhat rustic looking. Very nice crunchy exterior. No herbs, no discernable cayenne, lots of cheese. Light salt. Texture is a little on the dense side, somewhat rubbery due to the level of cheese. Nice finish. Really quite a good scone 74. Very nice venue, good decour and layout. A helpful barista.
