Having not got a manual that matched exactly with our Miele oven as it was a shop display model and Eva wanting to know more about the best way to cook with this oven, we decided to to take a free lesson offered to us by Miele Experience Centre, 183 Featherston St Wellington. Mark showed us all the workings to do the cleaning of the oven on 450 high heat. We got to know all the best placement in the oven and the best use of elements and fan combos for cooking and baking. His demo included the cooking a lovely breast of chicken and veg. A very nice meal thrown in for us on top of a very enjoyable learning experience. Hugo van Stratum

My 20 year old Miele dryer recently failed after 20 years of sterling service. I went into the Miele shop in Wellington with the intention of replacing both my washing machine and dryer. My needs were assessed by experienced, knowledgeable staff and I bought a washer/dryer package. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. The delivery and installation was great as was my communication by phone with the store, my calls were answered promptly, which I appreciated. The only room for improvement was that the installer, installed the washer perfectly but didn't reconnect the hot water to my tub. My new washer only needed a cold water connection my previous washer was connected to both the hot and cold water. This hot water pipe was left open and when I turned it on, water flooded the cupboard under my tub. This hot water pipe just needed a $7 bung to seal it off. It was disappointing, as the whole process up till then was amazing and I would still highly recommend the Wellington Miele store and I impressed with the length of quality service I get from their products.

Highly recommend anyone looking to redo their kitchen or laundry to have a chat with the experienced team at Miele. They offer free lessons to just about everyone for anything they sell! You'll be walking out amazed at what appliances are doing today! Pictured is some food cooked using their Miele Ovens.

We attended the Meile Kitchen Experience over the weekend and found it superb. Mark was excellent in inspiring us with how to use the appliances, particularly the different ovens, and also in describing the features of the appliances. He demonstrated how the technology in these appliances make things so simple from cooking quality, speed and cleaning. The dishes he created during the session was absolutely delicious.

Both my husband and I attended the Miele oven workshop and it was just great. We had our questions answered and we now feel much more confident using other features . We are advancing away from our go to - fan bake. We are looking forward to really making use of the 'store your own programmes' for family favourites, and go to recipes. Mark is a enthusiastic teacher and an excellent cook.

Update: Miele I won't be contacting your company as you have all my details on your system. My last contact with you was last week and in February when I received my receipt. OMG. I thought this was just me experiencing terrible customer service. But obviously not looking at other websites. This was my first experience with Miele and I won't be purchasing anything else from them. The Lady (won't mention her name ) didn't believe me when I said our brand new dish washer of several hours was faulty. As I waited several more weeks I contacted a company myself to get a serviceman out to confirm it was faulty. No help from Miele. I even had Kitchen Things contact me saying I will have to pay for serviceman to come out and it would be highly unlikely the d/washer was faulty. Not a good feeling when both companies didn't believe me. When I finally got an upgraded replacement (I paid the difference) it took months to get a receipt. This experience was unacceptable and another company in my eyes that is incompetent. 5 months I will never get back. I never got an apology from the lady nor from Kitchen Things. I should never had to ask for an apology but I did through an email. Finally recieved one from the guy that had to oversee everything. But it still took awhile receive it. Miele NZ you can add my name to the list of unhappy customers. Seems like you are getting a fan base for the wrong reasons.

First before buying the products and my second experience after buying and installing the appliances. I could not be happier with the instruction delivery from Mark Rawlins. So grateful for the very personalised customer service. Though overwhelmed by the very substantial information, I believe the experience will go a long way in me becoming an expert at using the products. Thank you again, Mark and Miele.

Definitely would recommend attending the cooking classes prior to purchasing your appliance. This will help ensure you purchase the right appliance to suit your daily cooking style. Once they have been installed do take up the opportunities to attend the cooking classes. I have been to a number of classes and I learn new tips every lesson and can discuss when things haven't quite gone to get right next time.

My second experience with a cooking class, one was before I purchased the Steam oven, which I love. The second was last week.I had the lovely Mark demonstrating found he had tailored to my needs and being vegetarian, he cooked vegetarian for me. Answered all my questions on different functions I hadn't used yet and ease of cleaning and descaling process. Would recommend the class and the appliance.Very welcoming staff in the showroom.Thank you would recommend to family and friends.
