   I would not even rate one star if I had a choice. I got my SNS nails taken off here a few weeks ago and within days my nails started breaking. I had noticed at the time that the nails felt really thin after she buffed the SNS off but didn’t say anything (in hindsight I should have). After noticing that my nails would grow a mm and break immediately, I knew it was damaged. Today I mustered up the courage to pop in and have a chat with the owner. This did not go down well at all. My intentions were to let her know that things went wrong and perhaps a bit of accountability on their end. Instead, I was met with ‘No we didn’t do anything wrong’ ‘It was the place that did the SNS that damaged your nail’, the excuses go on. She would not even consider the possibility of her colleague being too harsh on the electric file. As someone who has had SNS done and removed at multiple salons, I am familiar with the process and results, I also know my nails. From the photos you can see that the front half of my nails is extremely thin and the new nail is significantly thicker. I am not someone who does their nails every month so we can’t even attribute the damage to this… All in all, after a very dismissive and combative experience at this salon, I would not be recommending this place to anyone. There are better nail techs in Takapuna and the dispute resolution is non existent.

   terrible experience and photos below, i came in for acrylic french tip nails. there are bubbles, dust and literal hair in my nails, the white is half of my nail not a tip. they were not shaped well as i had to file them when i got home, i even called to complain and the lady said it’s not my problem you said it was fine but i had somewhere to go after so i couldn’t make them redo them. overall rushed, rude and i honestly hate my nails. look at photos below of them after i “fixed” them

   The only place I go, to get my nails done. Great service, my nails last at least 3 weeks. (and I am tough on my nails). I highly recommend. Thanks for always looking after me so well.

   My nails are so uneven, chunky and super lumpy and bad. The French has like white speckled everywhere not a sharp kind of French tip line. Not to mention they lasted a week and cracked off when I paid $70, I have NEVER had an sns that has lasted 1 week…it was not done properly either. Rip off I wish I went up to road to PD nails so disappointed and feel a bit ripped off.

   Got acrylic nails for my school ball. Absolutely loved them. The two ladies working here were so sweet. The pricing was also really good. My nail designs were done free handed which was really impressive. Definitely recommend and will come here again next time I want my nails done!

   I've been coming here for the past 3-4yrs and I absolutely love it. I'm impressed with the service from Mai and her team at all times when I've been here. Only ever get 'gel' done, which they have huge variety of gel polish colours, even though I only get the same few colours. The gel is super strong and I can go up to 1month before I need to come back. No chips, no dents, doesn't peal off the gel is always in good condition. The salon does other things but I only ever go here to get my nails done 10/10 from me!!
