After comparing different clinics and reviews, I decided to have my three wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Michael —— and I’m really glad I made that choice. The surgery was done on Tuesday, and within just a few days I was back to my normal life. No gum or jaw pain, eating almost as usual. Honestly, I didn’t expect the recovery to be this fast, which was such a relief. Dr. Michael is clearly very experienced with extractions. The whole process went smoothly, and the stitches were neat and tidy——I believe that’s a big reason why my healing has been so quick and painless. The Northmed team also impressed me with how thoughtful they are. Small things like the blanket, the ceiling TV, the well-insulated door, and the gentle way they talked really helped calm me down. I’ve always been nervous about dentists because of a bad experience at another clinic in Auckland, but here I actually felt safe and relaxed the whole time. Big thanks to Dr. Michael and the Northmed team for helping me through this. If my fourth wisdom tooth ever needs to come out, I’d definitely come back here. Highly recommend ——absolutely worth trusting.

I did a regular dental check, a cleaning for my first trip, and a teeth whitening for the second visit. I genuinely couldn't be happier with the service and the results! All staff members were so professional, helpful and kind. Will definitely come back for more regular checks, and already have recommended this place to friends and family!
Great service by Dr. Jay. Warm & friendly however the assistant wasn’t too gentle. Kept hitting my teeth with the metal instruments. Also the receptionist is initially nice but if you ask questions that may confuse her a tiny bit, she seems to get easily annoyed and her friendly character fades away. I thought it was just me but when my friend dealt with her another time, she got the same experience by just asking if she can use southern cross & that health app discount at the same time. Her appointment was late 30 mins. The dentist was nice but she also kept hitting her teeth with those instruments even after my friend commented about it.
This is without a doubt the best dental practice I've ever been to. If you're anything like me and are terrified of dentists from previous bad experiences, I can't recommend this team more. Dental appointments are now a pleasure. Incredibly professional and friendly staff. They discuss all your options and help you lay out a plan. They care about their patients. Communication and service A+++. Highly recommended for any orthodontic treatment. Big thank you to the team that work there - well done.
My son was very anxious going as new to the country but Wendy and her assist were amazing. My son said he was happy he had her as his dentist. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and overall we had a fantastic customer experience. Highly recommend.
