   We visited Ruchi last evening with my family and parents, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The name Ruchi means “taste,” and it truly lives up to it — every dish was bursting with authentic flavor and beautifully prepared. The owner was so welcoming and engaging, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hospitality was amazing, and the service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and warm. It’s rare to find a place that combines such great food with such genuine care for guests. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! Highly recommend Ruchi to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back

   Lovely service, nice atmosphere (not too noisy/busy - picked a week night) and delicious food (we had one of the street food entrees, a lamb korma and a chicken korma - paired with a cheese and garlic naan). We will be back from Porirua!

   Amazing customer service from the owner himself, always interactive and warm welcomes to everyone. Now food, quantities are plentiful and packed to the brim. Falvours are authentic, warm and delicious. They are really good with special requests and dietary restrictions as well. Highly recommend this place, this has become a really good stop by for me and my partner, for the food, the vibes and a quick yarn.

   Incredible food! I had seen Ruchi recommended so many times online, so I finally went. 100% lives up to the hype. I don't eat butter chicken ever but, decided to give the Indian style butter chicken a go. Phenomenal. The owner greeted us so warmly and treated us like long lost friends. Will definitely be going back and recommend Ruchi as a must try. Book though, as they fill up!

   We were intrigued by this place because of all the wonderful reviews. True enough, it does live up to all the positive comments! We were blown away by the food—garlic naan, Indian style butter chicken, chicken garlic tikka and dal makhani—and the service! Sherry was a lovely host. Everything tasted amazing. This place is now a favourite in Wellington!

   So impressed with the service it this Indian restaurant. Sherry was a delightful host who was able to accommodate for our dietary needs (keto). I had a keto curry and cauliflower rice which was 10/10. Can't wait to go back again. A heads up to book in advance as this place is popular. They also have a heat wall with people who have completed the 7x indian hot curry.
