Absolutely amazing! We ordered 3 takeaway curries and we were all so satisfied and impressed with the quality of these meals. We used to dine in at Curry Village about 20 years ago regularly until we moved out of the region. It is so lovely to see nothing has changed. The quality of food and the staff are still amazing. Thanks team, we are so grateful you are still serving up the best curries in the Porirua region. Highly recommend.

The general service and time for meals to come out is excellent. I had the Chicken bhadi with Naan bread. The Naan was a little over cooked. I asked for the bhadi in a medium-mild. It tasted like a mild. It was ok overall. Nice setting, seating at the table was a little cramped, plenty of space between tables.

My favourite Indian restaurant. Curry is always flavoursome, crispy naan bread. Highly recommend the Vindaloo or Tikka Masala!

Curry Village is delish! I have never eaten in but I often get take aways and itβs always tasty, warm and packaged nice, and nice amount of vege and meat, I would recommend the Mushroom Masala. They are also very quick to prepare.

Shut up and listen. I'm telling you, the absolute best in Wellington. And TBH the best Indian I've ever ever had. I say it every single time we have, best bloody curry I've ever had. Garlic naan is awesomely chewy and lathered in a tonne of garlic. We're vegetarian dishes and the flavour is outrageous. Multiple subtle layers with a depth of lasting flavour that just rocks me. And every single dish is unique to itself and always noticeably different from the next. This is the real deal. Listen to me. Just order and weep before its splendour. You will lose your one dimensional preconceived notion as of curry, and gain an intimate understanding that is not just limited to taste and smell. You will learn something, and you will gain something. A tasty and experience that will sate you, quietly, to a better, calmer place

I usually enjoy meals from here but tonight I was very disappointed. Ordered Chicken Jalfrezi and was surprised when it arrived. It literally looked like they'd thrown their leftovers into the container. It was tasteless, which is unheard of for Indian meals. The chicken looked like it was leftover tandoori. The best part of the meal was the delivery.

Very disappointed. I made booking beforehand for 4 people, to celebrate my youngest son's 19th birthday. We were astounded when the waitress asked to see my son's ID. He's 6 foot 3 with a full beard and most certainly does not look under the legal drinking age. He didn't bring his wallet with because it wasn't necessary. Both my husband and I were really annoyed. We are a decent, respectable family, not a bunch of rowdy students who could potentially be under age drinkers. This was meant to be a birthday dinner for our son. My husband left us at the restaurant, drove home and got some ID for my son, drove back to the restaurant and showed it to the waitress so that she could bring him the Corona that he ordered. The manager then came to the table and asked to see his ID again, making us feel like we were being deceitful in some way. By this time our evening was ruined, and we just wanted to eat our curry and leave. But, to top it off the Lamb Hyderabad that we ordered didn't even have lamb - it was beef! Such an utterly disappointing experience. We will never return.

Went here on a monday night. They were not busy so food came out very fast. The flavors were great. Nice a d friendly waiters. The place has good ambience. 10 of us and we had a good time here. Maybe the toilets can do with a do-over. This was the only let down.

My family and I have lunch here very often on Saturdays. We love it. The food is delicious and portions are very generous :) Service is excellent. The staff is one of the best in Wellington, very friendly, nice and helpful. It's one of the few places where you can eat what you expect, like my child and I, being unable to eat spicy food, they serve us very mild meals. Beautiful set-up, nice location next to shops. Parking can be accessed on the street. It's just perfect for families with children, small or large groups.
