   First time eating here and was blown away! The servings are generous. The food is so flavourful! It taste so fresh and not oily at all. We got the beef pho (hubby wasnt feeling well and says that was super good). And the lemongrass porkchop on fried rice. Had to take half home! We definitely will come back. Such a gem

   The best Vietnamese restaurant in Auckland! The food is absolutely delicious — full of flavor, authentic, generous in portion sizes, and very reasonably priced. We dined here today for my husband’s birthday, and from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with cheerful smiles and a warm welcome from the staff. The service was impressively fast and efficient. We ordered a variety of appetizers including wontons, spring rolls (both deep-fried and fresh), stir-fried noodles, and fried chicken. For the mains, we had their famous pho — we tried both the beef wonton and seafood versions, and they were outstanding! We also loved the iced coffee — so refreshing and perfectly balanced. What really sets Pho Bien apart is not just the incredibly delicious food, but also the exceptional service. The staff are genuinely attentive and always smiling, making you feel right at home. The owner even gave my niece complimentary cookies, which was such a sweet gesture! There was also no corkage fee for the cake we brought, and they kindly offered to keep it refrigerated. They even played a birthday song so we could all sing and celebrate together — we truly appreciated that thoughtful touch. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Pho Bien to all our friends and family. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday meal so special! :)

   Absolutely loved the food at this Vietnamese restaurant! The food was fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. The soup was rich and aromatic, and the wontons, chicken, omelette and vegetables were perfectly fresh and crisp. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A great place to enjoy a delicious meal with family or friends. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

   Dec 2024 edit: Staff has since gotten more professional and friendlier. Food is average, decent range. Service was disappointing, maybe a lack of experience and inattentive. Food was served while the waitress was holding her own food that she was munching on. Tables are sticky in between customers, they do minimum work to clean up. Seating arrangement is tight, cramped and on an uncomfortable hard wooden chairs.

   Been coming here for years with friends and family, consistent and delicious, and same owners! Highly recommend booking tables as they do get quite busy, though walk-ins are accepted and sometimes placed in waiting list if full and you’ve not booked a table

   Beef pho is good !! We tried few other things as well. pancake was yummy but too crispy. It suppose to be crispy but it was a little over crispy. Also hard to control when we eat them. We will always come back for pho tho :)

   An amazing place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amazing friendly customer services, even better dishes with reasonably great prices. I would recommend anyone to come here, especially if you’re a tourist. Thank you Pho Bien, I’ll be sure to come back next time I visit Auckland.
