Outstanding food, fresh and a nice change to the usual brunch classics. Gorgeous setting and very accommodating staff. Quite a long wait time but itβs clearly the best in the area. Photos are of the chickpea socca, smoked tomatoes and scrambled eggs and farmers breakfast. Thanks team.

Beautiful place, great design. Lovely atmosphere during the day with plenty of natural light ; Iβm curious to see how it feels in the evening. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef for his art. Approved!

βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ An absolute standout β a hidden gem out West! Brilliant restaurant with exceptional food, flawless presentation, and a stunning layout. The open kitchen adds to the experience β you can watch the chefs work their magic over a real wood fire, which adds incredible depth and flavour to every dish. Everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and bursting with flavour β easily some of the best food Iβve had in years. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and stylish without being overdone. The staff were fabulous β friendly, attentive, and impressively professional. And the chef? Absolutely incredible. You can tell thereβs real passion and skill behind every plate. This place is a true secret out West β Canβt wait to come back. Highly recommended.

Recommend pancake and fried potatoes. The sauce for fried potatoes is so delicious, even match the fried fish we order. Atmosphere and environment are fabulous.

Delicious food!!! Came for brunch to taste variety of dish and did not disappoint. Tasty, filling, satisfying, and presentable. Friendly staff, and great service. Aesthetically pleasing alfresco area with umbrella shades. Cosy indoor dinning area. Clean bathrooms with gentle refreshing hand soap.

A very artistic restaurant. The staff is very enthusiastic and very vibrant. The lunch menu is very simple. From the selection of ingredients, the matching of taste, color matching, and the choice of tableware, I can see that the details of the owner are perfect. The dinner menu is attractive, try dinner another day. I am from Shanghai and I like to experience all kinds of food. Lucky to live in Hobsonville, only a 30 minute drive to the restaurant. I wish the restaurant can enter the top 5 in the Auckland restaurant list next year.

A rustic European-style gem Intro: First visit to the Butcher Baker Cafe and I was impressed with the decor, has a Tuscan / Casablanca vibe, casual family, couple friendly place. Theyβve definitely made themselves a unique and competitive contender to local cafes. Food and drink have a number of modern contemporary options (in comparison to the area). Have a childrenβs play corner with bean bags, toys, sand box, water feature and parents can definitely keep an eye on the kids or sit down and join in the fun. Experience: The staff are lovely, polite and punctual; on arrival, they immediately greeted us as we walked into the main outside sitting area where we were escorted to our seating, helped us to drinks and menus. It was quite busy, but not full and did take time to get our food but took that into consideration. Food was great, eggs were a tad on the salty side but some pepper helped level it out. Conclusion: if you havenβt been and youβre a local, or if youβre passing through, Iβd definitely recommend that you stop by the Butcher Baker cafe. Take your friends, partner, family and enjoy!
