“I went to the 24 Hour Surgery recently and was looked after by Nurse Rita. She was incredibly kind, informative, and caring. She took the time to explain everything clearly, gave great advice, and made sure I understood my aftercare for gastro. I really appreciate her help, thank you for making a stressful visit so much easier!”

“5 Stars – Outstanding Care and Service I can’t speak highly enough of New Brighton Medical Practice. I enrolled here during my 2 year stay in the country and my GP - Dr Alex Andrews - has been incredibly accommodating and supportive, especially given my long list of ongoing health problems. He always take the time to listen and ensure I feel heard and looked after. A special shout-out to Georgie, one of the nurses, who has been absolutely excellent. She’s kind, professional, and always made me feel at ease. Plus she always looks fabulous in her funky scrubs. And one of the ladies at the front desk (Andrea?) — always super friendly and welcoming, and it means so much that she remembers me by name every time I come in. It’s rare to find a medical practice where every staff member goes above and beyond like this. Highly recommend to anyone looking for compassionate, professional care. “ive been reading the nasty reviews and to be honest, i cant relate to them. Ive been coming here since april 25 and i had emma who is on the ball and helps me so much. Even rings me at home if she needs to. Ive also had appointments with ben, another great dr who listens and also tries to come up with the right meds etc , The receptionists have been nothing but kind and respectful. If you want to join, dont listen to the negative comments.”

“After years of frustration navigating healthcare as an immigrant to Aotearoa New Zealand, I’ve finally found a GP and an overall medical practice that actually listens, follows up, and has genuinely useful telehealth appointments 24/7 on the app. Not going to after hours or urgent care first is a hugely helpful thing, not to mention a GP as competent as Dr. Dorien, who is friendly and warm and genuinely knowledgeable about a range of issues. I was skeptical of the Tend app but am finding a huge peace of mind from the wraparound services. For how expensive healthcare is getting here, it feels like my money goes a lot further in this practice than it has in years of sloppy and inconsistent healthcare. Dealing with a complex and challenging situation has so far been expertly handled, thank you. The mri guided radiation treatment is incredible, if you’re due to go through this treatment - rest assured, it’s impressive to say the least.”
