Thank you to Chloe, for giving us our hat that was left out of our order the day before Xmas, and our nuggets today were so fresh and yummo, have a great new year.
Went there to dine in. Bought the new chicken katsu rice thing. It was alright but was drenched in too much sauce. It still takes more than 10 mins wait eventhough there was no-one else (even the drivethrough was empty) which is not what I expected from fast food.
The chicken has been great recently, but so many times I have got chips that are just completely unseasoned. I ask for extra seasoning on the chips when ordering, just to try and ensure that I get some in the first place. Several times though there has been ZERO seasoning, and it really makes the chips a chore to even get through. So close to being great overall if they can just get something simple like sprinkling seasoning right, as the wicked wings have been primo.
The food is very good . Wicked wings are really delicious. Restaurant needs to be clean from time to time. Friendly staff Hannah who serves customers with a big smile and very fast serving. Over all hot and spicy chicken is the best!
Look, I used to work in customer service so I get it. Rush hour is rush hour, but that doesn't mean you compromise quality for quantity. Doesn't matter how busy you are, charging someone $7 and making them stand in line for 15 minutes so they can get like 14 unseasoned chips is just disrespectful. This place is such a gamble. Either it's decent quality and a great price for what you get, OR it 's the most atrocious and disrespectful thing you have ever seen. Watching from the floor, you can tell who the manager is because they do not know what they're doing and yet seem woefully afflicted by the Dunning-Kruger effect; pumping out low-quality food rapidly with such unfounded confidence. Just leave it to the professionals dude, go file some paperwork or something.
Service was amazingly fast .. staff extremely friendly but how ever very disapoint in the food as potato and gravy does not taste the same as when I was a kid .. chicken in burger was yum but the burger itself was gross and expensive
Seriously wondering if the staff are thinking. A friend and I went via drive through later this afternoon. We both put in totally separate orders. We moved fwd and paid separately. Cold food delivered then all rest in 1 bag. Including a 10 pce pk and 2 pces chk all in one tub. Separate orders, different houses. All in one lot. AND the wrap fell to bits btw!!!! Both orders shud have been separate. When i queried all in one bag, guy looked at me like i was weird. He had closed window, i had to indicate for him to reopen so i cud ask for a bag for us to sort our 2 houses ourselves. Not good service!!!
Staff are very nice but we ordered 3 x 3 piece 1/4 packs, we got no potato n gravy in any of our packs. Very disappointing. Ruined Our Meal
The staff here was very kind, courteous, and helpful. The food came out of the kitchen hot and fast. A genuine thank you for the cashier who went above and beyond to make us happy. The fried chicken was pretty exceptional. Similar level of quality to any other KFC I have had. The side dishes here, however, are abhorrent. Airlines would be ashamed to serve the sorry excuse for "coleslaw" which was put in front of me. Packed in a factory in Auckland, then shipped over in wasteful little plastic serving containers, this poor cabbage was abused before the colonel tried to trick me into eating it. The serving sizes for the mashed potatoes were hilariously small, which we ended up being thankful for, because they were also quite lackluster. Bland, dull, and watery, and once again in little plastic cups. My girlfriend's popcorn chicken was similarly anemic. If you have to eat here, just order the chicken, as the owner of the franchise seems to be struggling to acquire any other fresh ingredients, and pinching pennies at every turn. No napkins with our meal, done under the greenwashed guise of "ecofriendliness", is actually just a way of bilking the customers. Earn money by serving a quality product which keeps people coming back, not by grasping for loose change.
An absolute joke. We ordered at 6.25pm for delivery at the latest by 7.12pm. Food arrived at 8.25pm. Tried ringing the store several times but no answer. Clearly intentionally not answering the phone as not wanting to have to deal with customer complaints. Felt sorry for the poor delivery driver, as tracking our delivery showed he went to multiple addresses all over Dunedin before coming to us and our food was apparently “out for delivery” for an hour!! Seriously KFC Dunedin North, sharpen up your act, if I could rate you zero I would.
