The team at AquaPaws are great. Both my dogs have had cruciate surgery and one has bad arthritis. They both love going there for the exercise ( or maybe the yummy treats). I can’t recommend Krystle, Louise and Danielle highly enough for their skill and caring for the dogs.
We are so incredibly grateful for the service and support from Krystle and the Aqua Paws team. Our darling Golden Retriever, Luka, suffered a cruciate ligament injury in 2021 and underwent TTA surgery at 11 years old in 2022. The pre op and post op Hydrotherapy Luka received at Aqua Paws has made such an impact to his recovery. Luka had lost so much muscle mass while he waited for his surgery, but Krystle's treatment plan and guidance has helped him to regain his strength, and his mobility is far beyond what we thought he would have post op given his age and degree of arthritis. Now at 12.5 years old, Luka can go on 30 min walks multiple times a week and enjoy mucking about with his puppy sister. Luka loves his weekly sessions with Krystle and Danielle and although treats are definitely a contributing factor!! He genuinely enjoys his time in the tank. We can not recommend Krystle and the team at Aqua Paws enough!! They have given our boy a new lease on life and for that we are forever grateful ❤️
Krystle and the team at Aqua Paws are incredible and you can really tell they have a true passion for helping animals in need. They basically saved our Labradors life and we will be forever grateful to them. I would highly recommend Krystle and Aqua Paws to anyone, they love and care for the animals as if they were their own and are just genuinely great humans. We have been taking our dog Betsy to Aqua Paws for many years, and are one of their original clients. Betsy has had two knee cruciate surgeries and without the skill and care of Aqua Paws she would have a drastically reduced quality of life. From early on it was easy to see the impact that going to Aqua Paws had on Betsy. The treatment plan and exercise plan worked wonders on regaining her strength and improving her gait. Without them, I am certain that Betsy would be functionally immobile. I clearly remember the time she had progressed so much she was able to run on the treadmill, and the elation on our faces was matched by the staff. Betsy is now 10 and a half years old, and the maintenance sessions with the friendly staff are looked forward to, with changes made as needed. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If your dog is having surgery and needs support, or if your dog is getting older, you should look at Aqua Paws. They love your dog as much as you do.
I have been taking my 13yr dog Juice to see Krystle and Louise at Aqua Paws on a regular basis for the last year. Juice is a retired agility dog and though still quite fit and mobile for her age, she suffers from arthritis and other mobility ailments. Hydrotherapy has been such an vital part of her treatment to keep her this way. There was a couple of small periods where I was unable to take her (covid etc) and I really noticed the difference . Hydrotherapy is such a highlight of Juice's week, if she could drive herself there then she would! Both Krystle and Louise are experienced and passionate about what they do. I would recommend to anyone considering this for their dogs.
So thankful for the quality of service and care my dog has received going here!! I first came to Krystle after my dog had TPLO surgery over a year ago and aqua paws has made the recovery sooo much easier and less stressful for me! My dog absolutely LOVES going to see Krystle or Louise for hydro! 100% recommend!
After my golden retriever had surgery for a torn cranial cruciate ligament (CCL), she basically had no muscle left in her leg after the forced rest. Krystle worked with building up her muscles and now she’s running at the beach again. My younger golden also enjoyed the hydrotherapy and it helped greatly to get her weight down which will help avoid future joint problems. I highly recommend Aqua Paws.
Can not rave enough about the care Aqua Paws have taken of my pooch. They have been there to support my Rottweiler x Kelpie and I over the last year from Surgery to rehabilitation. So unbelievably helpful. They saved him from having to have a second surgery on his other knee! Honestly best thing ever and Zeus just loves it!
