   I stayed here for two nights for a work trip. The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and had lovely details. The bed was soft and had luxurious sheets and the room was equipped with aircon/heater. The staff at reception were lovely, easy to talk to and understand. What stood out for me was the special accommodations to my continental breakfast, due to a "late arrival" of the food tray at my room (which wasn't an inconvenience at all) - I was generously given a homemade muffin from Nana, honey from a friend and a delicious hazelnut sachet. Although these items weren't the 'norm' for a guest choice in brekky, I really appreciated the effort in what was perceived as a late breakfast delivery, and it honestly made my trip. All I can say is this is an apparent reflection on the staff who clearly care about their customers and have that wonderful kiwi attitude of sharing the beauty aotearoa has to offer.

   Was booked into this place for the first time and omg, what a pleasant surprise. Owner operated, so attention to detail and great customer service. Rooms were perfctly clean and well serviced. Sky TV a bonus. Day 2 was super hot so had a quick dip ⁹in the salt pool. Highly recommend a swim and pool towels are provided free. Loads of parking. Close to town. Had the breakfast on my last morning and it was huge, you'd be hard pressed to beat that and the price. Well deserved 5 stars... will definitely return.

   Very clean, new carpet, friendly staff and perfect water shower temperature. Was just said that I could not use my Chromecast to the TV as the only HDMI input is for the Sky TV, but still a very good stay

   Booked direct, called with query about booking and got straight, easy to understand answer. Had an extra person and owners were accommodating (paid extra obviously). First impression, motel clean and tidy, we were worried about it being right on main road/ busy road. Room clean and tidy and well sized. Beds comfortable and bedding very clean and plush. Towels lovely and plush. Shower works well, water pressure in our room was pretty good. Kitchen really well equiped! Loved that it had EVERYTHING we needed from a plunger (including really good coffee) as well as a small portable hot plate and pot for cooking. Owners very accommodating when we kept asking for towels for the pool for us and our tamariki. Rooms cleaned, serviced and replenished well (3 night stay). Surprisingly the noise from road was almost unnoticeable for us. 5 minute walk from town which is awesome. Enjoyed the pool. Motel seems to be run by a whanau which is great for visitors with kids, family friendly. Good laundry with powder supplied (for a $5 fee washing machine and dryer). Would stay again, enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

   On arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the look of the motel and the room that we were allocated. There is plenty of parking outside and the room was well appointed and quite room for a motel in New Zealand. Our unit happen to have a spa bath which is a nice addition and it worked fine allowing I relaxed experience. Breakfast was available in the room and was a reasonable price according to the menu although we didn't have it because we moved on quite early. Location is right in town and basically not much more than a walk to Hastings Central. There was no car charging facility there but the city council one was available in the car park in the middle of town and that was a 50 kilowatt charger and work time at that time being early 2023.
