    I ordered a small lamb and a piece of crackling and i was charged $20.91. I was at the other HB roast shop yesterday and i got the exact same thing for $15. I used to love coming here. Ripped off.. Went here also on 3.12.24 amd the lamb and potatoes were dry and tasted like it was not fresh. If you want a yummy fresh roast - go to HB Roast opposite Carls Jnr in Hastings.

    needs to add MORE gravy! especially when selling potato and gravy its basically potato with a hint of gravy. burgers are dry because the little gravy they give you

    My favourite dish is the medium pork roast with gravy and apple sauce. I love the flavour and presentation of the dish, it's prices are very reasonable and affordable for the goodness of the meal. I recommend the Deli ROAST on Russel Street in Hastings Hawkes Bay.

    Love this place. I grew up with roast meals, with meat and three vegetables, and this restaurant is almost as good as what my mother made for us. We both ordered a “small” meal, and it was very filling. Anything larger and I’d need to take the rest home. Very tasty, with all the best sauces. Only downside was the restaurant interior felt a bit too industrial, but it didn’t detract much from the meal.

    Lovely friendly service. Very polite young lady. I am always asked if I want sauce or not with my meal (I always have sauce). The meals are quite large and could easily feed 2 adults. The meal prices have increased since the last photos of the menu were posted but only slightly. I myself always get the roast lamb.
