Bought a cookies and creme frappuccino with coffee for my partner in her own personal cup. Service was amazing, especially being so busy at the time and it being mid-day boxing day. The drink was top tier and delicious.
I don’t know what’s happened over the years, but the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew here has dropped in quality big time. When it first came out, it was strong, flavourful, and actually tasted like cold brew with proper sweet cream. Now it’s completely diluted. The brew is weak, watery, and tastes more like an over-iced latte than a cold brew. The “vanilla sweet cream” isn’t sweet cream anymore — it literally tastes like plain milk. Paying over $10 for something that’s supposed to be a proper sweet cream cold brew, and getting this watered-down version, is honestly disappointing. Starbucks used to nail this drink, but whatever they’re doing now isn’t it. Hope the store relooks at their recipe, because this isn’t worth the price. And don’t bother pasting me some shitty link to follow I wont. Your poor review stands because your cold brew is diluted crap.
Lady on the register in afternoon, greeted us in silence. Looked disgusted to be there. Poor customer service skills, should stick to being in the back, where are the energetic lovely staff you had start of 2025!
Rude service no smiles. I asked for my drink to have no whipped cream in it and then I get the drink and there’s whipped cream so I told them that it was not what I asked for and she took the drink and scooped the whipped cream out in front of me into the sink and gave me back the drink that wasn’t even full. I would have expected a full cup for a small (tall) drink which costed me $9.20.
Awful service. No smile, no hello. Looked like we ruined her day by saying hello. Drunk spilled out, still were lovely to her smiling and saying thank you. Terrible experience and coffee..
Last time I went it was very expensive. And very busy. I ordered the Oreo Frappuccino, it had chocolate chips blended in it. Which made it very gritty. Which caused me to cough whenever I took a sip. The drink was still nice though, with a yummy creamy, rich cacao flavor.
First time visiting star bucks and I absolutely loved the drink I ordered. Staff were accommodating and friendly so customer service was great! Location is so ideal and the atmosphere was fantastic. Loved it will be visiting star bucks frequently!
Starbucks napier have to be one of the worst stores in the country. I load money onto my starbucks card and then find i cannot use it in Napier because any time they are slightly busy they turn off the online ordering. Its beyond a joke. And don't even try to call them. Last Sunday they hung up on my three times. Picked up the phone and hung it up. Beyond rude. Twice now i have ordered a cold Frappuccino and they made it hot because i added chai they got confused. Sure everywhere is short staffed. But I've already spent the money on the card so would be great if i could use it. I dont have the ability to wait in line for 20 mins which is why I need to online order. Everyone knows starbucks coffee is average at best. I go there for the convenience but thats non existant. Yes i have had some friendly staff there so not saying they are all bad but they definitely need to learn that making coffee is busy and u can't just switch off online orders.
