Very nice cafe, a little back from the main shopping area and cheaper for it. Service was very friendly with drinks arriving quickly. The coffee was OK, but not great.
Such a lovely cafe - staff are great and their rice paper rolls are so good!! Very nice coffee's too. Highly recommend :)
I would have expected a little more for the breakfast and while it was true to word “bacon and eggs”, I could have made the same at home given how plain this was. The presentation of food needs to be a little better, which can easily be done, and a nicer bread option would have made all the difference for bit more of a wow factor.
We visited this cafe on Tuesday and I was really impressed with the sandwich that I had. The filling was really good. Most cafe's sandwiches the fillings are very sparse. And the chai latte was delicious. I will definitely come back
Great location with plenty parking. Good cabinet food. Service was good and great coffee. Nice clean premises. Very much enjoyed.

Beautiful little place for a pot of tea and a snack. Service is excellent and you can even do the crosswords in one of the local papers. Nothing has changed. All is still excellent albeit a little more Covid aware. Nice to see the community assistance afforded the workers cleaning up from cyclone Gabrielle. Still a brilliant place to be when the sun streams in the Carlyle street windows.
Great little local Cafe on the outskirts of the cbd. Always has fresh selection of sandwiches pies cakes etc. Best sausage rolls in NZ and WA
Absolutely awful. We went here for breakfast, both got a big breakfast. My partners came out with a hair on it, my gluten free toast tasted like it had been in the freezer for two years and felt like biting through concrete. Our poached eggs were over cooked and didn’t even look like poached eggs. The white part had separated from the yolk and looked like mush. We were waiting for 30 minutes for everything to come out on a very quiet morning for this eatery. We ate what was edible (hash browns and sausages) as we were there for a quick stop on our way home to Hamilton
