    The Ross Creek Reservoir is an artificial lake. One of the oldest artificial lakes in the country, and the oldest water supply reservoir still in use in the country, it was created in the 1860s to provide water for the city of Dunedin, at that time in the middle of rapid expansion due to the goldrush.It is like a track,walk run whatever one want they can do it.it has a good history and also waterfall u might think its natural but its not as its the artificially created but its lovely.

    A nice wee walk by the woods. You can see this small waterfall and a few beautiful small ponds. There are lot of birds around too. You can go with your kids for a small walk or take your dogs for a walk. Pets are allowed as I saw.

    A hidden gem in the middle of Dunedin. Lots of different Bush walks of varying lengths & difficulty, so everyone can go and enjoy it. The waterfall is beautiful, the reservoir is picturesque. Highly recommend.

    We parked at the end of Cannington Road and walked down to the waterfall. It was a short walk through the forest, although moderately steep in places. Cool to see a tui on the way down. The waterfall was beautiful - amazing that we have such a great waterfull right in the middle of the city! Smaller but prettier than Nicols Falls. We stayed for about half an hour and nobody else was there, even though it was a warm summer evening.
