   I want to provide feedback of a recent on-line purchase I made. I ordered the terriers S&P shakers, the Welsh recipe book and one of the Scottish recipe books. When I phoned your store, your lovely staff member told me it would take a couple of days at least for them to arrive. I was extremely surprised and delighted to get them delivered the very next day (I live in the Mighty Waikato)!! Such excellent service! I wanted to sneak a peek at the shakers before gifting them at Christmas, but they were so well wrapped in bubble-wrap that I just left it for the recipient to open :-D Must be a Scottish thing - my mum would wrap things very securely too :-) All the items were very well received, and much appreciated.    I am responding to a comment made by a lawyer. Giving this store 1 star because of an ill founded assumed accusation, made toward a shop assistant. Lisa I am that shop assistant and as the Store was unwilling to respond to your racist remark, I am! I had not been in the job for long and was worried your daughter was going to hurt herself or break something as she was, initially running around the store. Every customer is greeted in this store. I said hello to your husband a few minutes after you had been browsing and he responded with a smile. I am not racist and am not afraid to respond to your comment because your a lawyer. Maybe next time you make such a ridiculous complaint, consider how it might affect someone. I would think a Lawyer would not consider saying something like this publicly, from a point of view, very different to mine.

   Racially biased service. Don’t go if darker than the shade of Pākeha. Went to this shop in hopes of finding Montgomery Clan items. Rather than assist me, the shop assistant decided to greet all other (obviously Pākeha) shoppers that entered the store after us. She then spent her time following my husband around the shop. My husband and I are Māori (he more obviously so than I). His attention was on our daughter and ensuring she didn’t break anything. The shop assistant’s attention was directed at my husband as she pretended to fluff around the shop and constantly glared at my husband. She made him feel as though he was a thief. He became so uncomfortable at his first experience of racial profiling in a country in which he is from that he had to leave. I regret the $5 I spent in the store.
