Had the wrong tree sent 6 years ago I told them they tryd evey Avenue to try snake ther way out of it and the guy was extremely disrespectful and realy didn't care. and then they reluctantly gave me what I should of had in the 1st place after i finally got ahold of the owner 2weeks later .and the plum tree they sent looked half dead with shot gun holes in the leafs just needed spraying and was 1.1m high was a second grade tree for sure verry disappointed at the out come the disrespectful/incompetence staff member told me i was getting one with fruit on so i knew what it was as he lookd at me like i was dumb. Furthermore the owner wanted to come up and cheek I had a orchard I think he said he would call in some time I think he was in disbelief that a 32 year old had a lifestyle block he didn't believe me obviously still hasn't shown up 2 year later i have 94 fruit trees on my property and this is the worst experience I've had dealing with nursery so my advice is do not get your trees shipped and only use them if you need to .......

My gardener purchased 12 plants on my behalf from Greenleaf and this will be the last time I get plants from here. Very poor quality plants. The Feijoa plants were yellow, dried up and shrivelled and all had moss growing out of the soil in the pots. The Magnolias were all bent out of shape. Pretty bad considering photos were sent of these plants to the gardener before purchasing and delivery, of which they looked nothing like the photographed ones! Furthermore, the freight company Greenleaf uses is absolutely HORRIFIC! Never experienced anything like this before! When I advised the delivery guy the pallet was not going to fit through the narrow space where he insisted where it should be placed (go figure, he's forgotten who the client is!) he proceeded to ignore me and went ahead forcing his pallet jack through my tight courtyard entrance damaging the buxus hedge, decorative grass trims and badly scrapping our concrete tiles.. He thought it was ok to damage my property at the expense of his own abhorrent laziness. Disgraceful!! I even told him I'd help him move the plants over to the other side (5 footsteps!) if he left the plants where we had plenty of space, but he wasn't having a bar of it - until the damage was done. Thanks to his idiotic behaviour, we now have to fix what he damaged, which should be at his expense!. I expect to be compensated for my delivery charges. And fingers crossed that hopefully my plants will thrive after their yellow and shrivelled, thirsty beginnings. I won't be purchasing from Greenleaf again, you really need to be in store to select your own plants, it is the only way to guarantee thriving ones.

Update: Originally I was disappointed with my order from Greenleaf Nurseries However, after raising these concerns, I received a prompt and professional response from Daniel, who acknowledged the issue and offered a generous solution. He also confirmed steps had been taken to prevent this from happening again. While the initial experience wasn’t ideal, I appreciate the way the situation was resolved and the solution offered. That kind of follow-through does make a difference. Original post I ordered plants from Greenleaf Nurseries on April 27th. By May 14th, I was beginning to wonder if they were growing them from seed. Turns out, the delay was because one item was out of stock β€” fair enough β€” but nobody thought to mention that until I followed up. When the order finally arrived, I was excited β€” briefly β€” until I opened the package to find a collection of plants that looked like they’d just crawled out of a compost heap. Wilted, diseased, and definitely not thriving. If these plants could talk, they’d be whispering, β€œHelp me.” I raised my concerns nearly a week ago, and since then? Silence. In short: slow delivery, poor communication, and plants that arrived looking like they’d had a rough night out. I know there are worse things happening in the world than the delivery of a few dud plants, but it's still annoying and I wouldn’t recommend.

I recently purchased some Metrosideros Velvet Sky from Greenleaf Nurseries and was thoroughly impressed by the whole experience. The trees arrived via courier in a timely manner, I was genuinely impressed by both the size and quality of the plants, they exceeded my expectations. It’s clear Greenleaf Nurseries takes great care in both the plant selection and packaging. I’m very pleased with my purchases and would recommend Greenleaf Nurseries to others seeking quality plants and professional service. Thank you Daniel, you were great to deal with.

Anyone can sell you something. But if there are problems....I bought plants online. Heard nothing, days go by, week goes by. I email, no response, I email some more. Still nothing. So I phone. Oh he says will look into it. I get an email later, no stock. No offer of a refund, no apology. So I say refund me. Again, no reply. I email some more, I use the website contact form. Nothing. So I note I might have contact bank about visa payment. THEN I get an email real quick, oh we don't keep credit card info they say, you have provide bank account number. Well maybe YOU lot should tell me all this in the first place, instead of ignoring me endlessly and forcing me to chase YOU. AVOID. Terrible after sale service. And I have yet to actually receive this refund too.

Top marks to Greenleaf Nurseries!! I was looking for Fairy bamboo & contacted them. Daniel arranged three plants to be couriered to me from Hastings to Rangiora. They arrived today in perfect condition. What great service they offer & the plants are so healthy, would recommend them to any fellow gardeners. Thanks Daniel.

It was the first time I’ve ordered via Greenleaf Nurseries and I’ve already recommended them to my friends. Lovely knowledgeable staff. Excellent communication. Large range of variety on the website and the trees arrived well packaged. The price was very fair compared to the price in the garden centres here and the freight still made it worth buying from them.

Had an amazing experience with the team over the last 5 year's. I have been purchasing their amazing trees and expanding the orchard over this time. They are a delight to deal with. Highly recommended.
