Not impressed at all!!! Food tasted like oil is WELL overdue to be changed !!! Unclean, not friendly!!! The health department would have a field day there!!!
Got 6 pacific oysters ,6 scallops ,battered sais and beef roll ,oysters were sooo small and shriveled ,and scallops small ,all over cooked ,tried to interact with staff but got nothing, not very friendly won't be going back
Rubbish!!! Cooking oil dirty. Hardly any salad on the burgers. Fish was the smallest that I've had anywhere & the steak & onion roll had an odd taste as well as having lots of potato to fill it up. Stay away.
Horrible experience here. Lacking customer service. $10 worth of chips to share with my kids. Apon opening we noticed the chips were very dark and over cooked. Didnt taste nice at all. As we continue to eat we notice a small bug, we didnt think anything of it until we found at least 12 more. All through out the chips. They were all dead and some even crushed up. Took chips back to get my money back and they reckon the bugs weren't from there. Finally the gave the money back but threw it on the counter. Ignorant people there and definitely wont be going back. Noticed other reviews have had bugs in theres too! Their oil musnt get changed very often and i think a inspection is critical here. If i was you i would avoid this place at all costs.
The shop doesn't look that great, with the staff behind a big piece of plastic, but the fish and chips were much better. The fish - hoki - was quite a thick piece but moist with decent crisp batter. Plenty of chips, mostly crisp, and a proper potato taste - obviously hand cut in-house.
Will never go there again. Crispy Chicken Burger-bun, chicken, a scrape of lettuce, sauce. Chips and sole fillet untasty
DO NOT EAT HERE unless you want BUGS in your food I ordered vegetables wontons and clarified I meant wontons with vegetables inside instead of meat. They said they could do this - I was given pork wontons with veggies on the side. Said veggies included a CATERPILLAR that was cooked in with them. All of this came in a container with no lid just a plastic bag loosely wrapped around so the sauce spilled everywhere. I went back and was refunded my $14 with a shrug and sorry.
Great taste, very generous staff, we ordered only fish and they gave us free chips and pineapple ring. Will go again there
We go a little out of our way for this fish n chips, & it's worth it. The chips are just a right crispy & the fish (hoki) is yum. Often slightly heavy on the salt, but otherwise doing a great job.
