   While Trinity is good, and most of the Teachers are lovely, approachable people, who are great at imparting knowledge and are passionate for their jobs, and the education standard is great for most subjects (including Science and Religous education), the school has a lot of problems that prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending this school to fellow students or prospective parents. Most notably, are 3 big problems. First, the student body, while not very violent, often has a culture of verbal abuse and cyberbullying that the school has yet to properly address. Secondly, a lot of the changes following the School's rebrand in 2023 are lazy, largely superficial, and often are blatantly worse than before, with the school song, haka, and prayer being barely changed with clunky new additions, the new houses being terribly led by the senior leadership team, and the school spending most of their budget on making the office and the staff room nicer, and ignoring the rest of the entire school, despite many areas such as toilet blocks being in disrepair. Thirdly, and worst of all, the school administration (especially the current principal) is extremely both incompetent and Callous, with their only goal being seemingly to make the school look good in the eyes of the public and nothing else, often making very questionable choices in the name of the School's squeaky clean public image, which is frankly disgusting. On top of all of this, Student feedback is hard to access and is very ineffective. While I enjoy much of the time I have spent at Trinity Catholic College, and there are certainly much worse high schools to send your children to in the Dunedin and Taeri area, I cannot in good conscience fully give a positive recommendation of this school. 3/5 Would be great but disappointing.

   kavangh was alright when I was there the first year the teachers were nice and i made good friends but my second year there i started gaining attention and got heavily bullied online for things I didn't do and I still feel unsaved at my new school because they said I was going to get jumped. kavangh has a horrible bullying problem (manly online) but it doesn't get talked about because students don't speak up about it

   I went here over 30 Years ago. And was to brief a stay (Due to circumstances beyond my control I had to leave not my Choice).but in the time I was accepted for the geeky and Nerdy guy I am. I wounder those kids are now and what might have been if could have stayed the teachers at the time and who had tremendously respect for were starting to help me a student who struggled Academically and they always did their best. P.S I have reconnected with some of them
