Have used this chemist many times during the week and have always rated their service. Weekends or Sundays in particular are a different story. While waiting and waiting for my script it was clear I was not the only frustrated customer.
I am in dunedin for a working holiday and I recently came into life pharmacy for a perfume gift, this young lady Sophie was very helpful with testing the samples for me and finding the perfect scent for an old lady like me. 10/10 customer service.

Got our 6yo daughters ears pierced one by one. Bridget and Crystal were amazing, very kind and patient while our daughter took a minute and some expected crying between each ear. Totally recommended, the kindest and skilled people ever!
Friendly staff. Very quick to get in medicines they may not have in stock. The pharmacists go out of their way to be helpful, and are particularly understanding & non-judgmental (esp with those types of things that the rest of NZ's medical system so often handles disastrously)
The staff were very professional and helpful dealing with a leg wound. Jordan or Paul even contacted my Dr. The ladies were onto it to..Thanks Guys
Amending my review because the pharmacist took the issue very seriously and has resolved it in a professional way. However leaving the content of my original review as the way the retail staff behaved was had the potential to be remarkably unsafe. Original review: Had an astonishingly poor experience having a script sent through to them. Apparently my script was not received (even though the email address was checked and correct). The drug requested was OTC, so decided to to purchase retail, and not mess around with the unreliable email system - instead the staff attempted to sell something 8x the dose of my prescription.
Contrary to the other positive reviews listed, our experience was pretty much the same as the negative reviews. My wife and I went here yesterday afternoon to get our flu shots. The young guy at the counter was great, but when he approached the Pharmacist, who was clearly stressed, quite rudely said (twice) that she was too busy to do this for us. This was not a good look in front of those in the shop. What made this more frustrating for us was that we had been referred here by another Pharmacist from a different Pharmacy, as that Pharmacist had injured her hand and was not able to assist us at that time.
I would give - stars if i could. Never again, the old ladies are rude and arrogant. No help at all they just stare at you with blank faces answering 10seconds in a boring tone. They make you feel dumb, but theres no way ill be feeling that way by some old ladies at a pharmacy who have nothing better to do than make others shopping experience awful.
