   Isn't it unfortunate that Mainfreight truck and trailer drivers can't read road signs. Cause if they could, they'd see the road signs clearly posted at each end of Wilson street showing "no trucks allowed". By cutting across from state highway one to state highway 3 and vice a versa and speeding while doing it, they're showing total disregard for the young children attending both of the primary school and kindergarten. located in the street. Why!!!! All for them to save 5 mins by not having to go to the t intersection right in central Bulls. Shame on them!!!!

   Wow, what can I say. The lights are on but nobody's home. The level of blatant incompetence with absolutely zero care given from the Napier division was unreal. I was flabbergasted. User beware.

   They have been quick to deliver a big item from Auckland. Took 3 days from there to our place. The delivery guy rang beforehand and it was delivered on the agreed time. Thank you. So far so good.

   Giving one star as there is no option to select no stars. Firstly my item was at the dispatch for more than a week before being dispatched. I completed an online form that states that if no one was home to then leave it at the front door, I just happened to hear them busy leaving it at the door. There was no attempt made to knock and see if anyone was home. They then left me with a huge box that was 50kgs as a female to move on my own. If you have a choice, do not use this company.

   After reading some of these horror stories I was extremely concerned about my expensive Martin guitar. My impression is that they're not as fast as a regular courier service for one off door to door deliveries. I believe they are mostly used by commercial customers. I didn't want to leave anything to chance so I drove to the depot and picked it up otherwise it might have stayed there over the weekend or longer. When I showed up at the reception, the lady there was helpful and friendly. She quickly found someone to locate my package who brought it to me on the forklift. Somehow after reading all of these bad reviews I was fully expecting a half squashed box with forklift puncture holes and a broken guitar inside. But the reality is that they took all due care of my package and even stuck bright orange "top stow" stickers all over the box so that it wouldn't have anything stacked on top of it. There was not a scratch on the box or the contents, it arrived safe and sound. I cannot fault the way they handled my package and my only criticism is that they are way more expensive than another company that I've used numerous times.

   I would not recommend using Mainfreight to courier fragile goods. I collected a few suitcases with fragile items from them and found out that my shipment had been split in two and that one suitcase was in Napier and another two in Hastings. After driving to the separate branches to collect all the suitcases in my shipment, I found the suitcases to be damaged. If you want your valuable items to be delivered safely definitely stay away from Mainfreight.

   Disorganised and rough outfit. We had a $30k custom machine shipped from Hamilton supplier. Thing turned up dented stainless steel arms smashed off. Took months to design and build only for a low paid and probably over work forklift driver to demolish it in minutes. We use to do business with these guys and occasionally we receive international freight which always end up lost broken or split up in multiple shipments where things like this happen. Just usless

   Gave me a delivery time slot. I asked to call 30 minutes prior to then - obviously so I could confirm and get to my house (I work full time). Arrived outside of the time slot even mentioned. Instead of getting me to rearrange delivery they decided to leave a heavy and very expensive piece of gym equipment in the middle of my driveway. My item was also broken. When I called them and stated how unimpressed I was, they had the audacity to blame me. Extremely unimpressed

   Possibly New Zealands worst freight company. They delivered the first order damaged, the second one to replace the first they have lost half of it and refuse to respond to the sender or myself, yet to recieve a response despite calls and emails from both company who sent and me as recipient. Been over 2 weeks apparently sitting at the delivery depot. Totally incompetent, do yourself a favour and conpletely avoid them.
