Our go to for watching films in Dunedin - have been in for five or more times in the last year. Building is beautiful and tidy, crew are chill and helpful, cinemas are relatively clean and well kept, with screenings not usually filled beyond 50% so you can have spacious seating. Toilets as well are pretty clean and available in each level.
Six cinema rooms, good size, lots of seats. The premises were clean. The building is beautiful. Good selection of movies. Clean toilets.

Would give 10 stars if I could. Went to the movies at Rialto. When I got home realised they had over charged me. Went back in the next day to let them know and they refunded me the whole cost of both tickets and food and gave some free tickets as an apology. That's such amazing service and I'll be a loyal customer for life. Thank you Rialto.
Lovely old building, and some excellent choice of films. Recently, Aftersun, Broker, Close have all been highlights and the French film festival is arriving soon. 18 bucks a ticket seems reasonable as well.
What a great theatre! We had an amazing time is this renovated theatre! Slightly felt like we were stepping back in time from the moment we walked in the door. Sit back with your popcorn and enjoy the show in the comfortable seats.
