   Had the most amazing experience here this morning. Stacey was so knowledgeable and helpful with recommending my partner shoes that are suitable for his next marathon. As we are visitors we were upfront about only trying things on for size and Stacey still went out of her way to help him. He was able to test shoes on the treadmill and sized properly for the specific shoe. Definitely wish we had somewhere like this back home.

   If you have never had a foot assessment, I would HIGHLY recommend that you come to one of the Shoe Clinics around the country. I was so pleased to see my feet treated with such scientific precision— and then to use all of the data to select the best shoes for me. I don’t know how I could ever go back to buying shoes blind, so to speak. I walked in to the Dunedin store knowing that I needed a good pair of walking shoes. Kyle, a keen and attentive young salesperson, asked me a few questions and then ran me through 3 simple, informative tests. I stood on a sensor pad that delivered a digital image of my feet, showing how it lands on the ground when I walk. Then there was a quick 3D scan that measured my feet exactly. After finding several shoes that fit my feet, I put them on and walked a few seconds on a treadmill with a video focused on my footsteps to make sure the prospective shoes worked well with my specific gait. After a lifetime of buying shoes based largely on appearance, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of determining which shoes truly worked best for my feet. It sounds like a lot to do, but it really didn’t take too long. All the while, Kyle was just amazingly patient and extremely attentive to my walking patterns. I was very impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. He also knows a whole lot about different types of shoes and the mechanics of walking and running. Since buying the shoes a couple days ago, I’ve walked around 4 hours, some of it on rocky terrain and some of it on steep paths. The shoes are working beautifully and I have no foot issues whatsoever! Kudos to Kyle for his exemplary service.
