   Labour Day 2025 I was heading north to Auckland via Napier when my battery light came on so I pulled over and called the AA. I would like to commend Jason who promptly showed up, diagnosed the fault, displayed it to me, and explained it to me, and told me what I needed to get done to address it. Then he recommended a place to stay overnight and trailed me all the way there to make sure my car made it ok. He then provided two recommendations for where I could get the alternator fixed and I followed up on one of them and got absolutely brilliant service (AG auto electrical). Between the AA and the AG what could have been a horrible experience was actually one that I very much appreciated. Thanks all around.

   The service at every level , the lovely genuine people and the resulting advice has saved me making a mistake purchasing a vehicle that would have cost me thousands . I am very grateful for the comprehensive inspection and the explanation given to me of what was wrong . I'll never attempt a purchase without an AA report ever again . It was my wife's idea to get one " I told you , i'm always right " . As most of we husbands know it's almost always true !! I'm very grateful for Napier AA's top shelf service and unreservedly recommend them .

   Tony Drake,manager,+his team were most helpful assessing a tyre rejected by Hawkes Bay Honda who wouldn't give me a WoF over it.This tyre was already ok'ed buy firm Tony's tyres. Common sense prevailed and i have my WoF and can get more life out of rear tyres before i need to replace them. Thanks team VTNZ,hope you all have a great Christmas break.Cheers PD
