   Best fish (blue cod) and chips since leaving the UK 20 years ago. Great service even during the busiest evenings. Good value too considering recent inflation pressure (I've seen blue cod elsewhere in the South Island $5 dearer).

   Spent $80 here as there was a group of us and I’ll never return here again! Minimum chips was literally 20 chips but only the scraps. Sweet and sour pork was battered in cinnamon and the sauce tastes like vinegar only. Combination fried rice had zero flavour and the beef satay was watery. Only nice thing was a big piece of fish. Waste of money! Go to Gees instead

   Best value fish and chips we have had in years, very generous portions, you won't go hungry. Was a little overcooked and sweet and sour sauce was horrible, tasted nothing like it should, just vinegar.

   Highly disappointed with these guys. After being loyal customers for over 10 years tonight we went it order, as a Mother's Day treat, half a dozen gluten free oysters.... only to be told that they are far too busy to offer this service tonight. We always get put gluten free takeaways from here and it's always freshly battered, so doing oysters was no different to doing a fish etc. I guess it pays not to dietary restrictions on Mother's Day. We will NOT be returning

   This place can only be described as an experience. It was fantastic! I had the meat burger and my goodness it is huge! Highly recommend! The chips are all hand made and come in fantastic shapes it's great. If you get the chance to come here don't pass on it
