   A seagull stole my bacon, but the owner was incredibly generous and replaced it for me. Absolutely delicious food, excellent staff and a lovely setting for a late breakfast. Highly recommended ❤️

   8 people for lunch. Table easy to get as we arrived just before the lunch rush. Most drinks arrived promptly after ordering but 2 others took ages and required us to prompt the wait staff. Food arrived in good time. Overall we ordered the French toast, sea food chowder, eggs bene with bacon, hash brown stack, and the big brekkie. My dad raves about the chowder and he gives this a solid 10/10 each time - he goes back just for that. Eggs Bene was good - all meals with eggs had the poached eggs cooked perfectly with great ooze factor. The weirdest dish was the hash brown stack. The hummus that came with it was just weird and not enjoyed by anyone who had a taste. The hash browns, which were also in the big brekkie, were a little odd too. Maybe they had been cooked earlier and just kept warm for too long???

   Such a great little spot right at the end of the beach — the only café around, which makes it the perfect place to stop after a long hot walk. The views are beautiful, the atmosphere is lively, and it’s pet-friendly, which is fantastic to see. It can get very busy (a sign of its popularity!), and while the food and drink menu is on the simple side, it’s a relaxing place to recharge and enjoy the sea breeze. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

   Have been coming here for years now, the fish and chips is always amazing - crispy fresh tender fish refreshing side salad and best chips! I always get extra tartare so bomb! French toast and eggs Benedict is a fav too! Coffee is great, this is my most visited cafe and I live on the other side of town lol love it here!!

   Lyndon, hope you're doing well! Scarborough Fare is perfectly situated for a post-beach treat in Sumner. The food and coffee were delicious, but honestly, the service felt a little lacking in warmth. We felt more like numbers than valued customers. A simple "hello," and a quick check-in on our meal would have made all the difference. It's a tough business, I know, but a little extra friendliness goes a long way! It's also a very pet-friendly cafe, with a great outdoor area for dogs and even water bowls provided. Three stars from us.

   The cafe is next to the beach, there is a playground and some toilets next to the cafe. I ordered flat white (regular one), taste is ok, staffs are friendly. It’s a good spot to drink coffee while enjoying the beach.

   Nice place for seeing the beach with a cup of Latte , lot of car parks along the street , quality and quantity of chips and latte are acceptable , selling price is not expensive and similar to other coffee shops in Christchurch . Good table services .

   Good little lunch or breakfast spot. With a killer view. They serve Bohemian bread with many of their dishes, which really takes it up a notch. We had seafood chowder and my daughter had fish and chips. All good. Coffee was excellent too. There’s a park, an ice cream shop, and a kid-friendly beach right next to it too… so, great for those of us with little ones.

   Table of four, great coffee, good options. My dish was the French toast and it was heavy on the cinnamon and DELICIOUS! 2 big breakfasts and the table were well appreciated too. Beautiful view, lovely staff.

   A slightly different menu, beautiful, original. Plenty of choice for my vegan and gluten-free friends too! Very tasty food and an excellent view from the terrace. Friendly staff and clean toilets.
