The scones are extremely good and come with a couple of slices of chilled butter. They have five flavours but I always get cheese and spinach. The coffee is pretty good also if you like it strong.
I'm very impressed. This little corner cafè is a real hidden gem. I've never really given this cafè much of a thought before, but it truly does rival some of the best in food and service. Note to the owner: You have the best Spearmint thickshakes. Well done. This is the type of place worth dropping into when passing Eastgate. Just nestled into the corner of the food court. I highly recommend giving them a go because it's clear that they appreciate return customers, so they work very hard to make that happen.
I’ve been coming here for well over a year now and I love it. The scones are incredible and they give you lots of proper butter, instead of those tiny plastic packets. It’s also great value for money and the service is perfect every time. It’s tucked away a little and it’s easy to get distracted by the other cafes in the mall. Resist and check out Arancio instead!
Delicious Vivace coffee and a variety of moist scones with a lovely crunchy outside, and they don't skimp on the butter, delivered to your table.
We found this place after the earthquakes and have been regular customers ever since. They have the VERY BEST scones in Christchurch, and probably New Zealand. The cheese are fantastic, but the cranberry and white chocolate are a taste sensation.
Delicious huge cheesy cheese scones and a perfect big mug of hot chocolate. Lovely polite prompt service. Highly recommend.
