REPLY to Ingham This review relates solely to the refusal to help me release the fuel cap so I could get petrol to make my appointments. Your reply is far from accurate. I phoned on Monday morning and was given an appointment for Wednesday, but I urgently needed petrol. I asked multiple times if I could pop in for 10 minutes just to have the fuel flap released so I could use my car. I had already removed everything in the boot to access the petrol cap and needed the last step done. Despite this, I was told I had to wait until Wednesday. Staff shortages are not an excuse for refusing basic assistance to a loyal customer. My issue was never about the booking β Extremely Disappointing β Zero Customer Care for a Loyal Customer After four years of loyal support and significant spending, I am profoundly disappointed with the complete lack of basic customer service from Ingham Cambridge. On Saturday, my car's petrol flap failed to open, leaving me unable to refuel. I had to stay home all weekend to conserve the remaining fuel. Phoning first thing Monday to book a fix, I was given Wednesday as the earliest appointment. I explained that I had already removed the boot trim and simply needed someone to manually release the fuel flap so I could put petrol in and use the car for essential appointments in the meantime. I asked if I could pop in for just 10 minutes of assistance. This request was flatly refused with no willingness to offer any kind of workaround or basic help, despite my explaining the urgency and my reliance on the vehicle. Zero customer care was shown. I immediately contacted another local workshop. They told me to come down straight away, released the fuel flap on the spot, ordered the part immediately, and fitted it as soon as it arrived. Crucially, even if I had waited until Wednesday with Ingham Cambridge, I would only have had the flap released then. Only after that would they have ordered the part, requiring a second return visit. The entire job took the other workshop only 30 minutes total to complete from start to finish. Ingham Cambridge could have done exactly the same to assist a long-term customer but chose not to. I received zero assistance when I genuinely needed it. My loyalty was made clearly meaningless to them. I was also advised of staff shortagesβa recurring issue I was told about the last time I booked inβbut a 10-minute intervention for a loyal customer should have been prioritised. I will not be returning.

My partner rang to see if Ingham could do a service on our Nissan Nismo e-power. Spoke with someone in the service department and explained we had bought the engine oil, transmission fluid, new spark plugs and coolant and wanted them changed out as it was a new import and it was recommended to change out everything on an import. Service guys said sure and it was approximately $350 but they could possibly reduce the price as we were supplying those things. When my partner picked the car up they had only done an oil and filter change and charged her $300. No spark plugs changed, no transmission fluid change and no coolant changed. He told her it didn't needed doing. That's Not what we asked. We asked for those things to All be replaced. We wanted all of it done and had explained this clearly to him. Sorry but it wasn't a question it was a request. Not sure how this wasn't understood. So we spent $300 for an oil and filter change. Really Expensive for something I could get any mechanic to do for half the price. I really didn't think it would be that hard to get these guys to do what we wanted. Emailed asking why they refused to change these things. Got No reply.

Great service, super Friendly. I purchased a used Ute from these guys, turns out it needed a few small fixes a few weeks after taking ownership. I let the sales guy Ward know, he arranged to have the work done back at the dealership promptly, no questions asked, no charge. Would recommend buying a vehicle here.
