Stopped in a bit before closing and the staff were still friendly and happy to take the order. Place was spotless and the food was great. Will definitely be back. Recommend the pineapple fritter, hot dogs (with sauce), kΕ«mara chips, mussel fritters, regular chips, and corn fritters. No complaints at all about the food.

The usual fish and chips β good taste and texture as expected, and the service was great. I really liked the fried spring rolls too! If I could suggest one thing, it would be to add an extra layer or two of packaging paper, as ours tore a bit due to moisture.
Was searching for some FnCs during a short stop at Te Awamutu. Seriously good kai! Had the hoki but it was just as good/if not better than other pricier fish that Iβve had elsewhere. Comes beautifully presented with lemon slices. The battered mussels were awesome, perfectly cooked, sweet and tender.
They offer amazing gluten free fish and chips..... YUMMY!!!! Extremely friendly staff
The best chip shop in Waikato and taranaki, we stop here any time we go through the awamutu. I usually get their curly fries, which are properly crunchy, have good flavour and a reasonable serving size.
If you are Gluten free, this is the place to go for fantastic fish, chips (potato or kumara) corn fritters, deep fried bananas etc. Highly recommend. A very popular business with great service.
I always phone ahead for a quick pick up. Fish is moist inside and batter is nice and crispy. Garlic chips are delicious. The staff are polite and friendly. I love being served by the children of the family. Lorraine
