If you're wandering around Christchurch Central City and find yourself in Boxed Quarters, do yourself a favour and pop into Day Good CafΓ©. This little cafΓ© truly lives up to its name: it made my day with more than just a delicious Flat White. The coffee was soft and mild, perfect for someone like me who has multiple cups a day. Starting with a gentle brew is just the right way to ease into the morning. The real star of Day Good is Al, the barista. His friendly, joyful, and positive vibe is far beyond influential. We had a great chat while he expertly ground the coffee beans, ensuring everything is perfect. Our conversation went beyond coffee, touching on our birthplaces and stories of Christchurch. It's people like Al, who are passionate about their city, that have helped rebuild the amazing Εtautahi - Christchurch we see today. The cafe's interior is inviting, with relaxing jazz music setting the perfect vibe. It's a cosy spot to enjoy a gentle sip in the morning. I highly recommend Day Good to anyone looking for a great coffee experience. And don't miss the chance to have a chat with AlβI promise he will brighten your day! :)

Perfect little Cafe on tye corner of madras and st.asphas street.. little difficult to find with the road works but definitely worth it! The cakes are so good with very quick service! Ali the owner is so lovely and very welcoming, it's a little gem hidden away and the perfect place for a coffee.

Day good making my day. Near the polytech and Kairos food rescue. The potplants and decorations on the wall make this place. Keep up the good work and God bless you. Ephesians 1:16-18 KJV Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; [17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: [18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Seriously best coffee in town! Their coffee beans are from the great Embassy coffee, I just love it, it keeps me going back. I'm a student and the $16 card for 4 coffee was really a good deal. Last time I also had a toasted sandwich and it was so stuffed I couldn't eat the rest of the day, see photo attached haha!

Love love love the coffee here, however the price increase was a bit of a bummer. I enjoyed coming for the price, convenience and good vibes, the good vibes still remain, however, the price increase has pushed me away a bit as I am a student :(
