Visiting Honeycomb is the highlight of my month. Tracy is very welcoming, friendly and extremely professional. I get a coffee and I settle in knowing I can relax and enjoy the experience and walk out with my hair exactly as I want it and feeling a million bucks. I have many compliments on my hair and queries on what colours and products I use. This is testament to my wonderful hairdresser. Thanks Tracy
First up the good stuff - a perfectly adequate trim and the lady who did the cut was most friendly and professional in manner. Earlier this morning I went in to Honey Comb for a trim - loved the name. I explained that I didn't need my hair styled just a little tidy up. Ten minutes later all was done and I was satisfied with the result - nothing major, but definetly much tidier. Then I was told it would cost me $64 for my trim. I did politely query the price and was told it was standard. Since leaving the salon I have phoned five other salons, explained what was done, how long it took and asked for a quote. The top quote was $35 which is much more in alignment with my haircuts elsewhere which made the comment about $64 being 'standard' unreliable at best. I am more than happy to pay the appropriate fee for any service. I am not happy to pay an overinflated rate and then be mislead in an attempt to justify it. Very disappointed - Honey Comb offer a perfectly adequate hairdressing service, I'm sure they don't *need* to charge $64 for a trim! I'm sure the response - if there is any - will be to say I should have asked about pricing prior to the trim [as there is no notice in the shop advising prices] - but that - if it happens - is blame shifting. The issue is overcharging for a simple service. Am very disappointed by this service.
