Our favorite cafe we stopped at on our whole trip. The vibes are cozy, the views of Christchurch are wonderful, and the food and drinks were delicious. 10/10 must stop here.
Beautiful views from the outdoor seating areas. The staff were friendly and attentive. The famous savoury and date scones were delicious. The coffee was hot and tasted great.
Fantastic view over Christchurch, with delicious freshly baked scones and yummy tea and coffee...how can you go wrong! An absolute must visit on every trip to Christchurch. I brought my Japanese friend with me and he loved it!
Sign of the Kiwi is a must-visit! The view is absolutely breathtaking, a perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the hills. The food was just as impressive. Fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee or a full meal, it’s a fantastic experience all around. Highly recommend!
Cafe in a historical building with a view. Ordered a latte, a berry milkshake and a savoury scone. Savoury scone with chutney was delicious. We also talked to the owner who was super friendly.
Beautiful cafe with a beautiful view! They have good variety in their food cabinet but they also have a few breakfast menu options too! Good coffee and lovely service! Both indoor and outdoor seating and reasonable prices on food/drinks. It can be a bit hard to get a park but 100% worth it. There’s also a quick walking track alongside the cafe to see Governors Bay!
Delicious date scone and coffee and hot chocolate. Not many gf cakes on view but the corn fritter stack was gf and delicious. Stunning views from around the cafe.
Arrived right on time for hot fresh dates scone ! Love it ! The food are great and the view is stunning. Love the atmosphere. Did not regret spending the trip up here for a breakfast before heading off for a road trip.
