   friend and I had a lightish lunch. I ordered the frittata and an iced latte. Received a cold frittata with a splodge of tomato sauce on the side and hot latte, latte replaced with a warm drink with ice put in. I was asked if i wanted the frittata microwaved, umm not microwaved but heated thanks, so microwaved?? Again I said not microwaved thanks, I was looked blankly so I said not to worry about it and left the cold frittata with them an re-joined my friend. They had ordered a coffee and croissant, received a warm coffee (after asking for it to be very hot please) and a microwaved croissant again with a splodge of tomato sauce. So a lovely tough luke warm croissant. Overall a very disappointed experience with zero stars from us two

   The food is typical quick cafe style but does have some blackboard menu. The staff were lovely and helpful.

   Our lunch today was ok. The salad with the salmon filo was dead. Our frappe’s were overflowing and were presented like this so not very nice presentation and the girl that made them thought it was very funny. We did not. We will not be back.

   Ordered a ultimate sandwich, and it was frankly disgusting the spinach was as if it had been sitting in the fridge for weeks the avocado was brown tomato was floury and nothing had any seasoning whatsoever the chips which also came with it were soggy and unseasoned... ended up throwing most of it away ☹️

   We came in during the morning tea rush as a family of ten. We were greeted politely by Wes and informed of the wait on kitchen food (always appreciated!!!) We had incredible coffee made by Tania. Then our food was brought out by the friendly Wendy, who thanked us for our patience. The food was out in 15 minutes and made by a single chef named Kim. The food was stunning and the poached eggs were perfect. This was the best experience we have had whilst in Christchurch!! All of the staff went above and beyond and seemed genuinely happy to be there. As someone who works in Hospitality, I know how hard it can be at times.. and understand the pressure Hospo workers have been under lately!! Thank you so much for the best experience!!! (As I am writing this, our plates were promptly cleared by another incredibly polite lady)
