First time to Boardertown. Great to see a big selection of skate gear. I came in wanting to potentially get a deck from a Kiwi/Aussie brand, and one of the first decks Alex puts down is a Kiwi brand, i didn't even have to say anything. Quick and easy service and a friendly team. Too good.
Got recommended this place by a friend, and today I finally went in and bought my first skateboard and all the bits I needed for it. I can see why it was recommended. Was served by Alex who was super helpful and gave me great part recommendations and helpful tips as I'm a beginner. Great service, great place :)))
Great atmosphere, greeted upon entry (but not in superficial way), and Staff are very friendly. They definitely put more effort into making sure you have a good experience shopping than 99% of retailers, great deals too. Highly recommend checking it out.

by far the best boardertown store in all of New Zealand. The staff are super friendly and helpful especially Laura who is the MVP! would recommend to anyone if you need any skating/snowboarding gear!
The Boardertown team are some of the most helpful, knowledgeable folks I know. There's a great selection of all kinds of gear, boards, clothes, accessories. I needed some help with getting a new hoody and Laura, Pearce and Ocean were genuinely interested in finding me a great deal that fit and suited me
