   This is my local. When Symrose's first moved here it was great having them so close. We have always popped in for ice-creams etc. Not once have we felt warmly greeted or been left with any reason to want to return. But time and time again I have looked past this and focused on the product as opposed to the service. For a year now I've talked myself out of walking the extra ten metres to Mobil because I've wanted to "support my local." But frankly team, and I mean this with respect, the service we get from your store is far from feeling valued and respected as a customer. Trust me, I'm not after red carpet treatment... but the gentleman behind the counter are rude, and frankly, when you have so much competition close by, perhaps you shouldn't take it for granted that your customers are going to keep showing up when you're not invested in any sort of common politeness, care or decency. In my humble opinion, you will always have the drunk students coming in and out, but your loyal locals will be few and far between, due to the above experiences. Sounds harsh, but this review comes after about 15 purchases/visits to your store - this isn't just a once-off experience.

   Wouldn't personally recommend atm. I feel as though I am going to be chewed out by the owner for this review - I mean no malice, sharing my experience, please take it into consideration Made a phone order, I'm always polite to service people as I've been on both sides and know how much crappie customers or service can dampen your day - the lady wasn't rude as such moreso nonchalant, showed she did not want to be there and ridiculously casual. The curry tastes as though once it got to a certain level in the pot just ONLY tomato was added. I've had to add all of my own seasoning. Good portion for price though shame on taste. Souvlaki was okay. Tenders weren't burnt but potentially thrown back in the deep fryer to heat? Idk.. I'm all about supporting local but it's really hard when there isn't anything worth supporting. Wish I'd checked reviews first. I really hope service and quality improves soon as this place is so close by it sucks to have to drive passed it to a corporation like BK or McD's on lazy night when ya cba cooking..

   Love symrose, the staff are always friendly! (The butter chicken is my favourite) they are always stocked up with everything you need, and love how fast and efficient their meals are!!!

   Really want to love this place as its conveniently near the uni but have had multiple occassions where google says they are open, they appear to be open but walk in to find they are closed and get told to leave. Atleast put a sign on the door if staff are having a break or something and perhaps explain the situation politely rather than just yelling out that the till is closed.

   Not good at all, they have added a super extra large to the menu, and it's an absolute joke, paid $32 for an open deluxe which is the same size as my hand. You are way off the same quality as 98% of the food places that sell souvalaki's, family of 4, 1 small souvlaki, 1 large souvlaki 1 extra large souvlaki and 1 open box deluxe for $125, with the door dash app, you should be wearing balaclava's. Door dash delete this restaurant from your app!! Food not even to average standered.

   I used to come here regularly for a Masala Dosa. Used to. Past tense. They hiked the price up by 21%. That cannot be just for inflation. $16.99 for a simple dish is too much.
