After being in a very dark space i was introduced to Beam Counselling, I believe this was the best thing i have done for myself, i worked with the beam team for what i call a considerable time. They are very professional and wonderful people to talk with and had a great deal of empathy for my situation. there is no judgement and worked through my issues and anxieties. I do couples counseling with Matt both my partner and I have enjoyed attending the sessions and have learnt a lot about ourselves and each other and we still are learning as we go. I was at a desperate end with my mental health after my latest life experience that I knew I needed to talk to someone in the counselling sector. After looking at 3 or 4 options on line it was beam counselling that took my eye and the response was direct and thorough, and in a manner that just felt right. After messaging with my details I was approached by Matt S. Who was quick to accommodate for me and before I knew it the first step to overcoming my latest life hurdle was put to rest as we had our first catch up. I felt like I could be myself, talk real and I guess most importantly I was put at ease early, he gave me that sense of friendship, a person I could call upon that could see my situation for what it was and put to rest my anxiety of all the negative thoughts that had been weighing on my shoulders to that point. From that session a plan of attack was set, and from then on it was all about moving forward through more positive thoughts and actions set out together. I strongly recommend Matt S. At Beam counselling, for his down to earth dimena, his understanding of human error, all the external factors that I had no control over which ultimately lead to my experience and for the reassurance of self forgiveness, and that we are human after all and for putting everything into a more complete perspective so I could move on with comfort in myself.
